Do you name your mayor after yourself?

I never name my mayor after me, I always name them a character name or something. Mine is Holo from the Spice and Wolf Anime.

Yes, I use my real name (Tiffany)
I have since Wild World, and I think it's cool to think that I'm actually in the game. My character wears clothes that I like (but might never wear in real life), has dyed hair in a colour which I wish was real...
Plus, my town isn't themed, so it can work. If I ever make a secondary character, I'll probably give her my middle name.

I used my real name in WW and CF, but I used Mystery for NL. And Pokemon, which is better 'cause my real name has 8 letters and you can only use up to 7. Well, until X and Y, but I still used Mystery.

Nope I don't ^_^ I always use my nickname for games (be it on DS or online games), forum and YT.

Just because I like the name and if you go online I'd rather be a bit more anonymous (although so many people already link this name to me, it's not hard to find me out XD)

I named mine after myself, Zoey, since I prefer people calling me by my own name in-game. Not sure why, I just wouldn't want people calling me Spoink or Yui (randomly picked ~ I'm not sure what I'd call my character if I didn't name it after myself). It also feels more personal when you use your own name, in my opinion.

I named my mayor my RL nickname, Maude, it is short for Maudaevee which is my first name

Yep I even try to make her look like me. although I slightly regret it since my name is so common.

I name my AC and HM characters after my original characters. Sometimes other game or anime or movie characters, if I plant to theme it on a series.

Yeah.. and then I added a "y" cause the characters (the humans*) are so small. Kind of regret and kind of not. xD
