Do you name your mayor after yourself?

In WW it was my real name (Lottie) so I thought I'd change.

in wild world i named my main character 'louis' after myself and i did the same of my mayor in new leaf. my additional character is named 'jamie' since i like that name a lot.

I don't like using my real name for anything, "Eri" is my internet name but I called my mayor Dew since it sounds...somewhat peaceful.

I must've been high on something when I named my mayor... "Kituki". >_< I use a second character as my primary because of how stupid my mayor's name is.
