Do you name your mayor after yourself?

I did because I wanted to make the game more personal. My alt characters are random names though, and my brother named his mayor his after his online persona

My Mayor's name is Rai which isn't my name, I just made it up.

Yes. My first AC experience was WW, and when it asked me my name I used my name. Now it feels weird if I use something else. All of my towns have mayor Jackie in them, lol.

Yeah I did, I like hearing the animals calling my name and such. It's super cute, plus I think I've gotten more attached this way whereas in my alt town I'm not.

I put the nickname my dad gave to me "Shuti" but I really wish I could put Lucy. That way they could call me Lil L or Queen L or something. Just feels more personal.

On my second character I named it Kitsune, and on the third character I named it Yoru (meaning night)

Nope. I did in WW, but nowadays for anything I just use the same names that I like.

But my fake and real name cannot fit, so I just use "Gabby".

I always used my name when it comes to games that ask for your name. Don't know why people input other names though tbh -.- (unless they're doing some kind of theme for their town)
