Do you make or buy your tools?

I'm still at the beginning of the game, so I'm crafting them a lot more than I would be buying them. Though, even when I do get the Nook's Cranny upgrade, I still probably craft them. I just found out the other day when my mom bought herself some axes from the store, they broke waaaay too fast, so I'm assuming the tools in the store doesn't last as long as the ones you craft...

If I'm lazy, I bought the tools. If I'm not lazy or the shop is already closed, I have to make my own. But I'm always lazy, lol

i hoard the cute tools from nook's cranny and waste most of my customization kits on them
the elephant watering can is a must!!!
