I like how my villagers made their own neighborhoods. I'm happy with it.

In my current town all my villagers are confined to the lower edge of the map, but I'm regretting that decision honestly. It makes the rest of the town look barren and sad kinda. Next time I'm not doing that, I'll probably try the neighborhood thing even though it takes like an eternity to plot reset for.

I like both lol. When villagers are grouped that saves me more time from placing paths

I let my villagers move wherever. I don't like planning them all or making them all squished. I just don't like the look that much.

I like them spread out but actually have them scrunched together since there isn't really that much space in the map :(

I like them spread out. When I started out in the game, I had my mayors house on the top right corner of the map and all my villagers were just grouped together in the bottom left corner for some reason..but they slowly started to spread out as villagers come and go. I felt neglected by my villagers at the time haha

I like it when they have a neighbor , but the spacing is fine like 3 by 5

Space is the x, and the 0 are house , it's so I can have trees around them.

I like something in between for my town, like chunks of villagers together. I have 3 between my house and the town hall in south and connected their houses to my "main street" from my house to town hall, i think it looks really good and gives me a lot of space elsewhere to have like a park or other projects like this. But I have also seen others that made it work really well with most of their villagers in a line or spread out or something. I also really like it when you have matching flowers around their houses so I prefer when there's a bit more space in between. I liked the hedge garden idea too :)
