Do you like your villagers houses spread out or scrunched together?
I like my villagers' houses spread out because it creates great opportunities to layout paths to each house and then decorate in between with pwp and such. For some reason, I think there's more room for stuff when the houses are spread out. What about you guys?
I like mine spread out, but not all completely by themselves,
Rosie and Fang live right next door to each other, quite the opposites for neighbors! But it just ended up that way!
I like being able to have the space for pathways and other fun stuff
In my main town there all spread out and have separate hedged off yards where I put PWPs... I love it!
In my second town I have them in bunches to give myself more large spots to put PWPs and make bigger flower designs... but I think I prefer my main town's set up
my town has like mini neighborhoods sprawled around that have 2 or 3 houses, and are usually lined up in some way. that way my villagers arent all alone uwu
I like them spread out, but when I saw my friend's town where all villager houses are in a line together like an actual neighborhood, it was pretty cool, and it left a lot of space for pwps and decorations, so I'm actually in between.
Though, in a line together takes forever to reset, lol.
I like having them in little tribes, neighborhoods, whatever you want to call them. I have the three octopi close together in a line.
I also have Genji and Annalisa in a line, because they have similar themes with their appearance and house. (Greta moved in randomly, so I didn't get to put her where I wanted, which was next to them two). I have coco alone just because I wanted to build things around her house that made it look like she was the focus of that area.
I want to add more villagers in, but I'm not sure on where I want to put them and what theme they need to have.
I like them spaced out... though it's unfortunate that some of my villagers put themselves in kinda awkward places. too bad I could never be arsed to plot reset.
I love both. My last town was spaced out, some of my villagers conveniently lined up vertical and nicely spaced out and I would have 3 on the bottom half semi-lined up because there wasn't much space there. It looked really nice~
But when I got a new game copy, I put them all together and I love it so much. I have a statue fountain in the center and there's always 2-4 villagers walking around it. I have small clover paths connecting the cramped village. Gives off those real life busy city vibes that have houses close to each other with small alleys and busy streets u.u But ofc mine is animal/nature friendly lmao. Just kind of what comes to mind. Totally not natural for animal crossing though! So I understand why people don't like it.
I like both. Having them spread out is pretty cool it gives a bit more room to work around each house I guess but I also like them squashed together as it looks like a little neighborhood which is pretty cute!
spread out because it makes landscaping easier. i think i have 4 in a vertical line but that's only because i didn't know what else to do with my peninsula
I got pretty lucky with my current town in that all of my villagers want to live really close together, and the only two that don't are in an area where they're not in the way of anything, and I have a ton of open space for PWPs and a nice orchard. For once, nobody's in the way right now!
