Do you like your surname?

Nope. I have my biological father's last name and I ****ing loathe it. Not to mention it's just an ugly name too.

I'm changing to my mom's whenever I get the time.

Honestly, I don't mind my surname much at all. It's unique, and there's less than 50 or so people on the planet that have it. It really irritates me most of the time though, because people always mispronounce it. Then they ask what country it's from; and when I say Czechoslovakia, they just scratch their heads and mispronounce it again.

yeah. i used to really hate it for some reason, but it's been growing on me, and its pretty common among viet people imo

No! I want to get married and just change it already. I really like Aguilar as a last name

I don't know what my surname means :D So I can totally pretend it means colorful rainbow pooping unicorns with wings being ridden by gloriously fluffy kittens holding a cat nip filled banana. But I've heard it means "gate", not sure if that's correct seeing how the source was someone who was not really present mentally at the time.

Actually the surname I like, Fadai, is my grandmas last name and she's the most important person in my life so I'm changing it to that when I can.

Mine is okay. I don't want to say it cause I don't want people looking me up or something like that... It's a German last name that's only 5 letters and 2 syllables and doesn't sound weird to say. It's not too common in America as far as I know which is nice. I'm just happy that my last name isn't really boring like Brown or Johnson or something like that and it's not too long or hard to pronounce either.

Yeah. Theres only like 2 families with my last name in america.

But Norway might eb another story.

My last name, Perez, is really common. With a common first and last name, I don't feel as unique but whateva.

My grandma and my mom have the same surname, my mom was smart enough that she didn't change her last name when she got married.
I'm mainly doing it for my grandparents too considering they're the ones who raised me when my mom was single and working all the time.

My surname is Tomlin, and apparently it means twins. It's the 22,912th most common surname in the world, and 22k people bear it. I don't know if that's considered rare or common, but I'll assume it's just mildly uncommon. But that's just there because everyone else posted it, I don't like my surname at all. It doesn't flow well into any name I can think of. It's like slamming into a brick wall verbally.

Yes because no one can pronounce it or spell it on their first try. My friend said it wrong for like a year and I just let him hahaha

Mine's extremely common, but goes well with my first and middle name, so I don't care :3 When I get married, my name's gonna sound sillier, but again, I'm not bothered by it.
