Do You Like Your Original Villagers?

Bree, Egbert, Wart Jr., Bill, and Victoria. 2 of which are still in town: Bill and Victoria.

I like Bree and Victoria, but unfortunately Bree moved away
Wart Jr. and Bill were my OK villagers.
I HATED Egbert, and was so glad he moved away

I sometimes have a group of great villagers, but there's that one I want to move out

In my original town, my villagers were Snake, Chevre, Pango, Mint and (roscoe i think?)
They were pretty good.

In my 2nd town, it was Limberg, Broffina, Lolly, Pompom and Roald.

In my current town, it's Grizzly, Blaire, Egbert, Poncho and Annalisa..
Blaire and Poncho are quite nice, Annalisa's not bad, but I don't like Grizzly and Egbert :3

my starters were: moe, maple, teddy, baabara, and truffles
i kept: moe & maple

for the most part i liked my starters! i was quite fond of them, but i had to give a few of them up because i knew that i didn't exactly love them.

my favorite is moe, but i accomplished my dream town recently so i guess i love all of my villagers now!

In WW, the only starting villager I remember is Bones the lazy dog. He lived the closest to me and he was my best friend. I was absolutely devastated when he asked to move out for the second time. I pretty much quit the game until I found a way to lock him in forever. Then there was Ruby the peppy rabbit, who moved in and remained close to my heart ever since.

I like most of my NL starting villagers:

Kabuki - Village elder who convinced everyone else to wear his misty shirt; never made anyone angry.
Bunnie - I called her my homegirl for a while because she bombarded me with vital PWPs from the get-go.
Molly - Nice little ducky that Hugh and I used to hang out with.
Hugh - Silly piggy that likes to run up his water bills. He absolutely refused to turn off his faucet.

The only one I have problems with:

Drift - Self-appointed watch guard... while being the only one who says suspicious things... He started to get on my nerve a little bit after the town built the police station and hired Copper. Let's just say Drift seems all the more shady now.

I had Bettina (unpopular, but she's adorable!!!)

You're not alone! Bettina is actually one of my top choices for normal villagers. I ended up choosing Celia instead mainly because I met her in a dream and she stood out to me. I'd love to meet Bettina in a dream! That just might change my preferred villager list.

I'll just do all my games because why not.

In GameCube my starters were Cupcake, Bob, Pippy, Bluebear, Ed, Apollo, and Deena. (OK I started my town one day and didn't meet any of my villagers til the next day so I am not sure who was my starting Peppy between Pippy and Bluebear) I actually liked all my villagers! I started the game in 2002 and Pippy left shortly after I started. Ed left in 2009. The other five are still there! I loved Cupcake and want her to return in a future game! Apollo was my favorite, though. Ed, Pippy, and Bluebear were all pretty cool. Deena was okay, but I never felt as attached to her as the others, and I got Kiki and Dora in my first fifteen and they were my preferred normals. I really want to get all six of these guys that I can get (minus Cupcake) in New Leaf at some point to get their pictures!

Wild World: My starters were Baabara, Limberg, and Roald. I do have all their pictures! I'd say Limberg was probably my favorite but I wasn't a huge fan of any of them. Roald was adorable though, he was the last to leave. I got Kiki as #4 though, and she is still there.

City Folk: I will be honest, I barely played City Folk :/. I just didn't enjoy it as much as the other 3. BUT my starters: Apollo again, Stitches, Tangy, Gala, Snake I think?, and Tipper. I LOVED Apollo and Stitches!!! I want to get Stitches into my NL town at some point to get his picture! I already explained Apollo. Tangy was really cool. Gala was absolutely adorable. Cutest pig. Didn't really care about Snake or Tipper lol.

Original New Leaf town that I had for a day before restarting: Annalise, Gayle, Lucky, Apple, Bud. I ADORED Annalise! She was actually my islander in GC! She's the main reason I was troubled about restarting but in the end, I am so glad I did. I hope to get her in my current town so I can get her picture! Gayle was the cutest thing and Lucky was awesome! Was not very fond of Apple, but Bud takes the cake as my creepiest starter ever...

New New Leaf town started on June 10: Merengue, Maelle, Elvis, Jeremiah, Bubbles. LOVED Merengue and she is still there. Liked Maelle a lot and I regret letting her move. Im hoping she will return one day so I can get her picture. Elvis and Jeremiah were both cool. Was NOT a fan of Bubbles. At all.

In GC and WW, I don't remember my starters. But in CF, they were Winnie, Kody, Chester, Lucy, Apollo, and Olivia. I loved them all, especially Kody. But then Kody moved out without even telling me. Now I'm just too sad to go on CF, and I'm just trying to get Kody to move into my NL town.

In NL, my starters were Winnie, Apollo, Alfonso, Rowan, Diana. I was amazed at how Winnie and Apollo were starters in this town because they were in my CF town too, so I let them stay. But I might let them move out eventually. Alfonso I wasn't sure about at first, but then I got to know him and he's now going to stay forever. Rowan I wasn't that big of a fan of, because he seemed to much like a cranky than a jock. So in July I let him move out. And Diana I loved, not even because she was popular. I just loved how she looked, and I loved her personality. So I liked most of my starters overall. I still have four of the five in my town!

First of all, why so good? These villagers are like the cream of the crop in my opinion. I don't get to play this file that often, but when I do, someone awesome moves in. First Mint, then Bud, followed by Marina... WHY IS THIS TOO GOOD?

NEW LEAF: Gayle, Wendy, Vic, Iggly, Bree
Since this is the game I spend the most time playing, I'm going to just say this... I love them all dearly. It's just that I want to have new villagers. It hurt when Vic when to the void, and I certainly hope that the same won't happen to Wendy.
Gayle is like the mother of the town with a sweetheart crush on my friend Alfonso, Bree is the shy villager; with a sharp tongue when angered... Finally, Iggly was the first one to give me his picture. He might not be liked by most people, but what's important is that both myself and my sister love him very much.

IN CONCLUSION... I love all of my villagers~ except Al. Never ever again.

Lovely story! I'm playing City Folk now and the same thing is happening to me! I started out with a great bunch, and now Stitches is moving in. Wonder who will come tomorrow?

I started with Pierce, Ruby, Gala, Barold, and Broffina, and I thought that they're a great bunch. The first three are still in my town, and I don't plan on letting them leave any time soon.

Ruby happened to be one of the few villagers I can remember having in WW, so I was very happy to see her again.

Pierce was my favourite of the bunch to talk to, and he ended up being the first one I befriended. I know jocks aren't very popular within the fandom, but I just really liked his energy, and talking to him brightened up my day.

I'll admit that how I felt about Gala was initially heavily influenced by the fact that her name relates to a big inside joke between me and my friends. But once I talked to her a little bit more, I started to like her for her own merits, and realised how sweet she is.

For no particular reason, I didn't really get to talk to Broffina much when she was still in my town, which I'm kind of regretting now. As for Barold, I was weirded out by him at first, but I started to like him a bit more as I talked to him. I now find him rather cute in his own little way, and I was a little bit sad to see him go.

I started with Lucy, Bella, Hamphrey, Goose, and Joey.
Of those 5, I still have Goose and Joey.
If Joey ever asks to move, I'm letting him go. But Goose is staying as long as I can help it.

I let the others go without being sad. I was so happy to have Bella leave, though. I was cheering when she gave me her move out date.

I got Al and Mott... Al is... EUGH, and he keeps popping up on Main Street. Mott was alright. I accidentally asked him to move out. DX
My other starters were okay. I got Annalisa, Agnes and/or Pancetti (can't remember for the life of me) and Biskit to start myself off with.

I only liked one of my starting villagers. Let's see, remembering off of the top of my head, I started with Patty, Rory, Ricky, and Velma. Then Kyle, Cesar, and Mitzi moved in. After Mitzi moved in I started moving people out, so that is why I'm including the last three as my "original" villagers.

The only one I liked at first was Rory. Mitzi and Velma grew on me. Patty was the first to go followed closely by Ricky. I'm glad that Velma grew on me though because she is so cute. Snooty little goat. I am sad that Rory moved out though. One day I will get him back!

Tipper, Bertha, Wolfgang, Rudy and Egbert were my first five (ACNL being my first game). Not really an all-star cast in the AC popularity contest, or so I hear.

Tipper spends most of her time coming up with creative ways to rip me off (i.e. buying my first hammerhead shark off me for 5000 bells before I knew what anything was worth). I would've said I hated her, but her pic was in my mailbox this morning... all is forgiven.
Bertha's like marshmallow fluff, vaguely sweet and not particularly interesting. I thought I was going to be glad when she decided to move out, and initiated Silent Treatment accordingly, but then she started mailing me presents (a pink azalea shrub!) and pinging me every time she saw me and even chasing me around because she evidently wanted to change her mind and it was breaking my heart! Then the day before she was due to go someone called Marcel plopped a plot down out of nowhere and apparently that interrupted Bertha because she never left on her leaving day. I was cool with that.
Wolfgang I know is a fairly popular one, but he's never really clicked with me. We get on okay, but I won't cry when he decides to go.
Rudy's a bro and my only "cute" looking one. I always like talking to him. He got sick recently
Egbert immediately became my favorite villager. We even have a secret codephrase now. How can anyone hate Egbert, man? He's awesome and his house is just insanely cool inside. (Or it was until he started swapping all his stuff out for balloon trash and miscellaneous insects). His birthday is coming up and I'm gonna get him something amazing if I can.

I'm totally satisfied with the villagers I got from the start, all matching their personalities visually in thier character design, and I'm thankful for the awesome villagers I received after.
