It really depends on the tone. I appreciate it if the other person is being informative and I learn something new, but yeah it can be rude if it’s for something unimportant and the other person is too insistent. If the other person is having a rough time in life / apologises later even rude ones can be fine. This topic is always about context. I don’t think there’s too much for me to say that others haven’t said.
