Do you like Barold?

I've never had Barold so I don't know for sure. I do know he's very unpopular with players.

No, he's creepy af.

His character design reminds me of old-timey racist "minstrel" style design. It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw him, and I can't shake it. Not being able to get rid of him was one of the reasons I reset my first town (that and he moved directly onto my favourite path. And I seriously spent MONTHS trying to get him to move out.)

He gives me the chills.. Id kick him out right away if he ever moves in.

Don't like Barold's eyes much, he was in the campsite & I had 9 villagers, but said no to him moving in, never had him in a town.
There are several I don't like cos of their eyes - two that come to mind are Bisket who has blank white ones and Coco with blank dark ones. But then I like/love villagers that others find ugly - Quillson the little green duck & Katt the uchi cat.
All in the eye of the beholder.
