Every time someone mentions their favorite villager I feel bad when I have to go look up a picture of them because I forget their names so easily lol. Do you know a lot of villagers or just your favorites / ones you've had before?
I do know quite a lot of villagers because I've had a few towns now and I always let villagers cycle in and out. I remember every villager I've ever had, every villager I want to have at some point, and every villager my husband has had because I like to visit his town and interact with his villagers, too. There are still the occasional villagers I have to look up when someone mentions them, but they're pretty few and far between nowadays.
I don't think you should feel bad for having to look up villagers, though. There are 300+ villagers. That's a lot for anyone to remember.
At this point I know basically every villager, but that's because I have been playing the games for years with many different villagers in my town. Don't feel bad if you don't remember all of them, since there are hundreds of them.
I know only the ones I've gotten to move into my Town and older ac towns. I'd have to see the name to remember, though, since only my favorite villagers I can name without having to see it written down.
Well for me it's kind of a mix of knowing some of them with their english name, and some of them with their french name. I can remember them quite easily though and since for some reason I love names, I can recall them yes!
For sure I know every villager that's been in Wild World, City Folk or Pocket Camp. There are probably a couple I would need to look up that were added specifically in New Leaf or the Welcome Amiibo update
I know a lot of villagers but some are more forgettable than others. The reason why I know a bunch of them is because I use to always do the villager resetting method so I always got villagers I liked.
I know almost all of them except for the new ones they added into the Welcome Amiibo update that were from the original Gamecube game. I do know a couple of new ones like Dobie, but most of the others I too have to look them up, so don't feel too bad having to see which villager is which.
I actually dont! With my first town I kind of just accepted whoever came unless someone cool came to the campsite. After I learned about this site, I only traded for the cats and dreamies I wanted by looking through the lists. I have spoken to some in dream towns, but not a ton. I feel like I only know a small fraction of them! But some of them I don?t really want to meet anyways haha
yeah, after 5 years of playing animal crossing i know pretty much all of them i think i mostly mix up a lot of the popular favorite cats because i've never been that interested in them.
i don't know any of the new acnh ones though, just raymond (even though i wish i didn't)

i don’t really know many of the older ones that haven’t appeared in the series for a while but excluding the lions as they all look the same to me, i pretty much know every villagers name and can recognize them upon encountering them aha
I sometimes surprise myself with how many I actually know, but that's probably because I've been playing AC for at least like a good 7 years so I've seen a lot of villagers in my day
I’ve been playing animal crossing for about 5 years now, which I know isn’t as long as some people and I only started with new leaf. But I feel like I know almost all of the villagers. At least the ones that are in new leaf and new horizons. Sometimes I’ll see someone talking about a villager and I’ll have to look it up, but it’s usually for the ones who aren’t popular or unpopular, ones that people don’t mention a lot and I’ve never had. I feel like new horizons is really conducive to learning the villagers bc when you go on mystery island tours you can meet almost every villager depending on how many NMT you have!
I know all of them. Been playing AC since 2008 and just like everything else I'm interested in I know p much everything there is to know about the series
Just like the Pokemon, I can tell the villager's name just by looking at them.
And yes, I know of every single villager there is. But of course, if there were ever new ones I'd rather find them out myself to see if I like them or not as a surprise.
