so when you see a bug, do you kill the bug mercilessly or do you run away screaming? for me if its like a cockroach that is still ill try to kill it or if its flying ill run screaming.

depends on how big it is, but usually if its a spider, i scare it away with a bit of water but any other bug gets a febreeze spay to the face

smol bugs = ok
big bugs = not ok

smol cockroaches = squash and kill like no tomorrow
big flying cockroaches = run away screaming and watch someone else kill it

If the bug is in my house I'll pick them up and put them outside, if the bug is already outside I'll leave them alone because it's really pretty awful to kill a random bug on the street for no reason

If I were to walk down a street and see a beetle for an example, I would just walk away from it, there is no need to kill it.
If a bug was in my house I would release, simple as, we should just leave them alone tbh, they didn't ask to be bugs.

The most common insects we get in our household are house spiders; some more big than others. The small ones don't bother me as much, it's the big ones I'm most petrified of. They run too fast, so fast that you lose sight of them until they come creeping up on the walls beside you. Up the hoover they go, no thank you!

Another issue I'm currently facing is the inability to kill a fruit fly (or the usual housefly that visits every so often). There's no real technique that I find useful, so I end up half the time chasing them around the house whilst clapping my hands, hoping I'd be able to catch it -- which to be honest never works and so I eventually give up.

Does anybody know how to get rid of the fruit flies?

haha yeah I hate flies too! Especially if they just buzz around annoying the crap out of you xD
but the solution to killing them efficiently is to attract them with apple cider vinegar
just search it on google and they'll show you how to set up traps ~

I didn't think of this, so I may have to give it a try. I've also come across fly spray which kills them almost immediately; only the obvious problem to that is you never know where they'll land once you've killed it. I'll end up having a graveyard of flies which is something that I'd like to avoid, lol.

I usually only find spiders and recently earwigs around my apartment. I catch and release them outside.

Depends on what it is. If it's like a fly or a bee or anything small then I'll let it out of the window. But if it's something bigger I'll try to kill it. Or if I'm too short to reach it (or too scared) I get someone else to.

I'll kill them if they're in my house. If they're outside, depends if it's a gnat, mosquito, or a small spider.

Now, if they're big... that's when I'll call my daddy or my bf. I ain't touching anything the size of my hand. Nuh-uh!
