Do you keep your town in one season?

Well I just changed from winter to spring as I have just stared a new town and I feel spring goes with my town more.

My favorite season is fall but I don't keep my town in it because I want to experience every season and as for winter, I love the snow and building the snow people but it does get boring after a while and I can't wait for spring to come. I do time travel occasionally but only like 2 or 3 days at a time forward or back.

I don't, although now that it's a Christmas town, it will look much better once snow is on the ground.

I don't like to play in one season all the time just because I get bored of the same thing quickly so I just play the town 'normally'. Including not skipping winter, I actually really like winter in game it's peaceful! Though it can get boring after awhile I will admit lol I'm usually over it by February :P

For 2 years I didn't skip seasons in my towns. Some were started in a different season but still played day to day.

My main town is the only town that plays in real time.
The Guest Town runs late February to middle September. Stop a mover and than jump ahead.
Spring and Summer are my favorite seasons. It's nice for visitors to drop by and escape from winter.

I don't skip through the seasons but there are points when I really wish winter was over sooner in the game. If it ever really drives me crazy I end up time-traveling to the summer for a few days, but I usually end up time traveling back because I like to match my in-game time to real life time. The only thing I really like about winter is that I can dress my character up in cute winter clothes and wear boots and a hat. Putting together my character's winter outfit is definitely my favorite winter thing to do. Other than that, the white landscape and the small variety of fish and bugs drives me crazy by the end of winter.

If there were more stone PWPs, I'd consider making a winter town called Ishgard, after my favorite city in FFXIV. As it is, I let my towns cycle through the seasons naturally, so I can catch seasonal fish/bugs. :>

I play each season as it comes. I kind of wish it was snowing in game now because it is snowing here IRL. It would be nice to make a virtual snowman.

No, I would always forget to TT back if I did, haha

No,it would bother me too much if I kept it in one season only. I want the game to follow the real time and not just one season. I understand that people do have their favorite seasons but I like all the seasons so rather follow the time irl. It's just nice to watch the seasons change and the town change as well.

For my main town, sometimes I've ended up staying in the same season for a long time when I get really involved in a project. Like if I'm spending months working towards a dream update during a certain season, or working on a path or something, I'll just keep loading my town on the same date (or close to the same date) so that I can focus on the task at hand.

I feel like keeping the town in the same season makes a lot of sense for towns that are just creative/aesthetic projects with an end-goal for finishing it in a certain state. But if it's your main town, if it's versatile enough to look good in different seasons, and if you're playing for enjoyment and day-to-day activities, having something new to do and to look forward to changing seasons adds a lot to the experience.

I love playing the year as it goes by, because I enjoy it when AC:NL mirrors real life.

I don’t skip seasons, nor do I try to stay in one season, but I do time travel a lot, and I try to explore as many seasons as I can. But once I’m done with customization, I play normally.

If I could permanently keep my town in the late February - late June phase that would be amazing tbh.

But no, I just let the seasons pass in the game as they do in real life. Although I tend to play a lot more in the Spring and early Summer, and a lot less in Autumn and Winter.

I love experience all the seasons, so no, I don't stick to one particular season. If I had to choose though, it would probably be either fall or winter, as those two seasons are my favorite.

I like playing through all the seasons personally! Each one is different and speacial in its own way, though winter can get grueling.

I absolutely love winter in ac just because holidays. I also like a lot of the exclusive activities in winter. Summer does eventually get boring for me, but that's the season where I spend more time developing my town than anything else because rare stuff.
