Do you keep favorite villagers forever?

I mean I really like switching them sometime.... but there are some I feel too guilty to let leave.... basically everyone in my favorite villagers town is gonna stay now....

Also I just got Chrissy last night, I talked to her twice and I already know that I want to keep her. She's so nice and adorable so I'll probably get Francine to match

I had both Chrissy and Francine and they are since voided. I loved the pairing but I got bored. Peanut is the peppy I always wanted and I finally just got her the other day! Annalise is now my snooty. I have no regrets at all! They are sweet though.

I just had a total change of heart. She pinged again so I'm letting her move. I think it is for the best. Plus I found Nana on here so I'll have a nother cute normal move in soon enough

That's good to hear! I've definitely been through the process of being cut up over a villager leaving, and then being able to get over it.

I had the same situation, but with Pashmina! I ended up letting her go because I really wanted to meet a bunch of villagers too. I don't regret her moving since her picture and goodbye letters remain with me for great memories. Yeah, if anything they can always come back later on <3

All of my villagers are like my babies, lol. Especially in Bunifrey...I would be beyond devastated if any of them left, and I would probably stop playing the game over it. Melodramatic? Perhaps, but it's how I feel and that ain't gonna change.

yes. i decide on a town of 10 and keep them forever. i bought a 2nd town though, so i'll experience new villagers on that one when i eventually start it.

I don't but I do always feel awful when they ask me to move out. One of my in-game goals is to collect all the villager pictures and once I've done that then I let them leave.

I will keep Marina forever(she is my baby and favorite villager) I'll keep muffy because there hardly any cute uchi. I will keep dotty but the rest in letting leave.

I'm lucky that I get to know villagers in my second town that I slow cycle with.

There is still a part of me that wish I could know more animals in my main town because I spend more time there. But that's most of the reason i love my second town is seeing people come & go.

But then I get overly attached and even that town stagnates too much. Like the time Bam moved in. I didn't cycle until he left.

but I wish/hope the next game will change some of the wolves & their personalities. like I can't decide between freya and Whitney right now.. and then there's Wolfgang & lobo and I also want chief and fang, but having 4 cranky wolves would probably get boring quick.

but whenever freya or lobo ping me I just sit there thinking for way too long about what to do and end up keeping them.

I have Freya & Lobo. Freya was even better than expected & really sweet. She also looks better in person than the pictures suggest.

Lobo is really cool, he has a nicer house than Wolfgang & not as snappy. Only thing is he seems a little depressed, say compared to Kabuki who is grumpy, but also skips around a lot.

I'd say to go with Freya over Whitney, and either Lobo or Chief would be a nice choice.

Don't keep all your villagers forever, lol. I've had Tangy forever in Wild World and it's getting old. All the default stuff in her house is long gone and hard to navigate due to fossils; speaking to her just results in "Finding a complete parasaurolophus fossil is SO HARD! You know? Sparkles, if you find that fossil, you HAVE to let me know right away!" and she's still not caught on that old characters have been deleted.
