I do judge people by their grammar in french. (but not foreigners because I like them)
In english, I do not (well okay, I do judge french people by their english grammar) because I'm not perfect since I'm french and not totally fluent. (my mother is english but my father is french and since we live in France, the mostly talked to me in french)
I judge french people by their grammar because I don't like french people in general. x)
Eh. I see it more as being considerate to other users, so that they can read what I post better. Some users have OCD, so I believe it is only right to make posts easier and nicer to read.
not at all lmao i type like a two year old despite being well-read and educated???? i could type properly but thats so BORING
it does bug me when people put apostrophes in the wrong place/use them unnecessarily or use the wrong homophone but i wouldn't judge them for it, it just bothers me because it actually looks wrong and out of place lol
I used to, but now I realise how stupid it is and plus my boyfriend is very dyslexic and finds grammar hard, but he's very clever (in med school etc) and tries his best - I shouldn't judge him if he uses the wrong 'your' now and then.
Little things don't matter to me too much, but when people are constantly/consistently doing things wrong in their writing, it bothers me. Using the wrong homophone, misspelling tons of words, capitalizing everything all of the time, etc. makes you look unintelligent/obnoxious, in my opinion. I know tons of people do these sorts of things nowadays, but I strive to be one of the ones who (consciously) doesn't.
If you mean online, then not so much. Sometimes I type grammatically correct and sometimes i'm just bored like this so i wont even bother 2 make sur my sentences is grammatically correct lel
But irl then yeah, totally. Sometimes that's because the said person isn't a native English speaker so I understand...but I still judge them lol.
