I got my wii when it came out and I play Brawl on mine

.....I was under the impression that older Wii's couldn't read the disc.

YES. I have Wii-net. I have had the Internet Browser since the FREE TRIAL when they first released it in the US. I love that I got it FREE. And I can't wait for the upgrade. And usually whenever you see me on The Bell Tree forums, it is because I am using the Wii-net.

The newer Wiis don't have the internet channel.
