In Caprica I have some that go along nicely with all my clovers and jacobs ladders but I have tons of hybrids that the paths kinda get in the way so they are more from getting around only certain parts of my town. I also have some paths for around some of the buildings like retail, police station, and a few other places as well as some pwp's but I like a natural look rather then having tons of paths. All though I have seen some towns done beautifully and are great looking but they don't have the hybrids I have either so I will take my hybrids over having a lot of paths. I think it all depends on what your going for. I don't like to over do them. I have seen really amazing path patterns that I wish I could use but in my best dream town out of my three towns it just can't be done. This might change with my recently acquired son's town. I don't know what I am going to do. Its an all cat town but the mayor and alts are all boys. So can't be to girly so might go modernish. Or Zenish might be really nice too.

I don't have paths. I've seen some really nice-looking ones, but yeah, I personally like a more "organic" look. (Plus I'm too lazy to go to all that landscaping effort.) I also run all over town but I don't find grass wear to really be a problem, it seems to happen super slowly in NL.

Also, if you have paths, doesn't it bother you when your villagers don't walk on them?

I used to have paths, and I actually really do like the look of them, but then one day I decided that I would change pretty much the entire look of my town and make it a lot more natural. I didn't want any sharp turns, so I would run over the same spot and over and over again finding what felt the naturalist and then I could cut the trees and then replant them to border the curve of the new path. Now I have dirt paths bordered with all kinds of things ^.^ Trees, stumps, bamboo, bushes, seashells, gyroids, ores, flowers,

I do. Since my villagers are randomly plotted because I have most of them through random move-ins or villager resets, I find that having paths organizes my town better. I think it looks good too :)

Yes, but I decided to try decorating my Cherish town without paths on the upper half. I wasn't sure what I thought of it at first, but after a little more work, I think it turned out really nice.

I do have paths! It looks a little odd in some places (some paths are bigger in some areas while small in others) and it doesn't help my unwanted villagers come in and ruin my paths haha, so it's a work in progress still!

Yes, pink brick then pink cobble stone borders. I've tried to keep it so it 2 birck then cobblestone either side (so 4 vertical) ut sometimes villagers houses get in the way. I feel like my village would be empty without them xD

I kind of do, well I don't but I want to. It just makes everything look
more organized for me, but some people think differently.

I had paths in an old town, but I don't anymore. I got fed up of having to switch to different characters to put down one piece of path whenever I messed up, and I never really used them anyway, because there were quicker shortcuts to use :/ I think they can look really nice, but another problem is you have to really plot reset your villagers, or else the paths look dodgy, and I never hold on to lots of my villagers, so it's at least once a week I have new people moving in, and it just gets boring trying to keep the town 'perfect'.
Now I just walk everywhere to keep as much grass as possible!

When I learned how easy it was to destroy your grass I immediately began adding paths. Not only do they help with town navigation but they keep me from ruining my grass.

I don't want paths on my ground because I think it looks tacky. I'm thinking of making a path out of bushes though.
