im trying to come up with an outfit for each season and some events.
like, for bug contests, i want him to wear:
- explorer's outfit (shorts, shirt, and MAYBE hat)
- rimmed glasses
- white socks
- hiking shoes
for fall, i want him to wear:
- earthly knit shirt
- acid washed jeans
- cowboy boots
- thick glasses
if this makes any sense?? i think its cute which is why im doing it. im trying to do it without using QRs but for some, im going to have to like for landscaping or a raincoat (dont want him to wear a 'dress' because i want to wear jeans at the same time).
My mayor wears a crown , dollhouse dress , black loafers , and round glasses for the spring
wears newsprint hat , gray parka , and gray sweatshirt in fall (all outfits are with round glasses)
summer , polka-dot dress , hair bow wig , and blue shoes >w<
My characters are all themed so they always wear the same clothes.Once in a while i'll change my mayor into something else, but it never lasts very long.
I don't really have entire outfits yet, but I do have a small selection of dresses in my closet that I switch among. Once I get further established in the game, I will be making outfits. Probably not for specific events, but just to have something different to wear sometimes.
I follow the lucky item of the day so my clothing changes a lot.
Happy that winter is here. The lucky item is usually pants, hat or glasses.
Winter/fall- Worn jeans from Gracies, Stripe Knit Hat, Shearling Coat and Boots. Right now I'm wearing the jeans and boots with a red grid shirt. A villager sent it in the mail and it looks cute with my bright red hair.
Spring/Summer. Usually a T shirt and shorts. Just change the tile to a solid colour to match the shorts.
Or the palatial tank dress or twinkle star tank dress.
I only wear one at a time and change it when I feel like it, which has basically been not much more often than once every two to three months. So really, the answer is no.
I do in fact have a couple of outfits I like to switch between for my mayor!
For the first one, my mayor has pink hair. For the second one, she has brown hair. I also always have her wear the hair bow wig, some type of glasses, and whatever shoes/socks I think match!
Right now though she has the nebula tee and pastel purple hair.

Of course! A mayor has to have options I tend to match season and will occasionally, if the mood strikes me, dress up for events. Bright colors for spring/summer, browns/oranges/earthy colors for fall, creams/jewel colors for winter! I do tend towards qr codes more often than not; the overall detail is so much better than in game stuff (typically).
Yes definitely I change outfits to whatever I want, depending on my mood really. I rather like having this one dress (thats on my entire alpine set...), but I switch it up to custom clothes every now and then :>
I like to switch up my outfits every couple of weeks or so. It's fun trying to put outfits together, especially since I don't have much in the way of clothing or accessories at the moment. Managing a nice matching outfit when you don't have much available to you is very rewarding. ^^
Yes! I have a bunch of outfits and change them up when I get bored of one. One of my favorites is the one in my avatar, and this is the one I'm wearing now:

Sometimes I dress up my mayor for special events. Most of the time, I change their main outfit every month or so to fit seasonal changes. When I'm bored, I'll change it more often. I've also kept the same outfit but changed my character's hair and accessories to make it look different. At any given time, I probably have two outfits I rotate between, with one of them being the main one.
