Now that you mention it, i dont recall seeing her workout ever! I guess running around pretending to be an airplane is her preferred form of exercise because that is the most she did lol!

Her and Audie must be different types of peppies. Audie always works out in full gear.

I came across Jacob while island hopping and thought he was interesting looking. Invited him and then found out his interior was the garbage wall and floor. His furniture was a hay bed, dirty clothesline and garbage bags.

From then on he continually pestered me by writing me random letters, trying to get to know me, was a serial photobomber and I ran into him everywhere! (even found him standing behind my house.. why)

There was some good times but eventually he moved out. Woo!

Nope. With how I play the game, I’m not actively looking for specific villagers. There’s villagers I would like to get but I’m not going out of the way for them. I just invite whoever catches my interest while going to random islands and campsites. If I don’t vibe with them. I have no expectations so there’s no disappointment/regret when I don’t vibe with them. I just try to get them to leave is all. That’s about it.

I don't really regret getting him, but I found Punchy on and island after getting Erik, and I thought I'd be a bit more excited to have him once he moved in. He's pretty much the exact same as Erik except he naruto runs, which is cute but I think I'll give him to a friend eventually.

I have a similar problem with these two! It’s the other way around though, I always planned on having Erik on my island, but found Punchy on an island when I was getting my first lazy villager and decided to go with him until I could invite Erik, but now I’m besotted with Punchy and when I invite Erik to camp he just feels too similar, I’m disappointed I can’t enjoy both.

But in answer to the thread question, honestly? Raymond. He’s fine, but I think I just don’t like smugs. I had Zell and Marshal too and Marshal was perhaps my favourite of the three but I want to give Raymond a proper chance because he was such a pain to get hold of and Marshal is in my amiibos (had him in NL, again, wasn’t ahuge fan of smugs but Marshal was alright).
Also, Lolly was my bestie in NL and I have her in New Horizons and she feels a bit 2D compared to NL so I think I should just focus on villagers I don’t have expectations for.
Edit: oh, and villager houses! I really want to give Chief’s house a makeover, I am getting used to it, but doesn’t fit the old man vibe for me, really want Bruce, but he’s got a super similar interior too! Other options are Wolfgang, Dobie, or Fang, but Fang was my NL cranky and I don’t want to be disapointed.

Yes, Sprinkle is "play" type and that is why she is always running around. I imagine Audie is a "fitness" type since she always works out! That is so cool how varied their actions can be!

It’s interesting how it works. I think Blanche and Judy are the same type of snooty but Judy is always singing and playing with sticks and Blanche isn’t.

I found him on a mystery island and was super excited. Then he got to my island and while I didn't hate him... I just didn't vibe w him lol. Definitely better than Olaf and I love his interior but he just got... Obnoxious. I was thinking I might not like smugs in this game but then I got Marshal and I like him a lot! He's so tiny and cute that the smug dialogue seems a lot less obnoxious coming from him, although it's still a bit much sometimes lol.

Also, kind of a reverse example, but so far I can't stand any lazy villager other than Stitches. He was my starter lazy and the bug talk irritates me, and I always thought he was kinda overrated, but he gradually won me over. He was just so small and squishy and sweet! He gives off a huge little-kid vibe which makes a lot of the quirks of NH's lazy type feel more bearable(no pun intended) He was only off my island temporarily because I wanted his real interior (made me sad to see my boy sit on a dirt floor). I've had... a total of 4 other lazies at various points but they all just annoyed me lol

I worry I am going to be that way with my long time dreamie, stitches. I love stuffed animals so he is a given on wanting. I do like biskit, but he doesn't look AS plush so I always picked my other lazy boy plush over him.
But now? After I have seen pics of his exterior? I am very underwhelmed and dislike it. I hope in game I'll like it more.
... then I saw Biskits exterior and LOVE the look.
I have both amiibos, so I am just going to invite both! Wait about a week then decided if Stitches is really the one for Wishdrop or has a new plush lazy boy taken the throne?

Raymond. I didn't want him initially but was swayed by the hype (and at the same time, got curious) so yeah, I tried hard to make him appear using the campsite method. Part of it is that I also cycle villagers during New Leaf days so I must know how it works and I should get what I want, no matter what. So going back, I found him but I didn't sleep for almost 2 days straight trying to reset lol. Well now, a month later, I moved him out of my main island and replaced him. I still prefer my cute little boy, Marshal and even the fab Julian xD

Cheri. I had her amiibo sitting around and used it to bring her to my island. She was cute but I just stopped caring over time. I realized one day after having her for a while that I never wanted to visit, talk to her, or give her gifts like my other villagers. I moved her out with a different amiibo later on. Nothing against Cheri, we just didn't click!

I desperately wanted Tangy. I kept telling people if Tangy isnt in NH im gonna be super upset and i fought and fought to buy tangy off someone. As soon as i had her i was just super meh about it, I think its either because im not super fond of peppies in NH or I just overestimated how much i loved her in NL

This was in New Leaf, but I thought I would love Mira! I got her from a cycling thread. She wasn't a good fit AT ALL to my town and I just regretted getting her. I like her, she's an ok character, but her house interior isn't the greatest and she was a bit rude to me.
