Do you have any villagers you wanted that you regretted once you got them?

Do you guys have any villagers you were desperately searching for, and once you got them into your town, you regretted them? If so, what was the reason?

For me, I really, really wanted Walt, and I finally found him. However, once he moved in I found that his house doesn't looks nice anywhere and I'm surprisingly choosy about the house exteriors in New Horizons because everything is so beautiful. I'm not planning to kick him out or anything, but if I find someone better I will probably replace him.

Well not in New Horizon, but in City Folk I had Rod and was so happy, because I restarted many times to get him. But after a while he got on my nerves, always asking me for Rare Fish I couldn’t possibly catch for him. It got worse over the time and soon it became a daily task which I couldn’t finish. At this moment, I wished I could get rid of him.

sherb was one of my dreamies so when i found him i obviously invited him straight away
but after entering his house i noticed he had hypno k.k. playing and that song freaks the heck outta me and i started hearing it in my sleep so 2 days later i had him off my island, not soon enough though

back onto the topic, while searching for a potential villager line up i really liked blanche's design! a snooty white ostrich that resembles a crane? sign me up! i have her amiibo card so when i scanned her in and finally met her i was actually really put off by her voice (?) and how she introduced herself; not sure if it's because of the snooty personality because i actually really like judy, but i knew i couldn't stand having blanche as a permanent resident

I regret inviting Sprinkle because i already have her in NL and i want new faces, plus she still wears her ugly default sweater no matter how many cute clothes she got. I am gonna let her go as soon as she asks me to leave.

Julian! I only heard of him and thought he sounded cool in new leaf. He moved in and I did not vibe with that man at all. But he was nice and my friend took him and still has him! : ) I love to visit him every now again. He just wasn't meant for me.

Louie. I wanted him because he reminds me of DK. But because of HD graphics nowadays, I just don't like gorilla villagers in general. I like Boone though.

I thought about buying Lucky’s Amiibo because he seemed interesting, but balked once the price went up so high. Then I found him on a mystery island. But turns out, for me, while the design is cool, in action I need more expressiveness from my villagers and a non-emoting bandage dog that looks like a child’s drawing of Snoopy didn’t do it for me. Plus Lazy villagers are not a personality type I’m vibing with in this game. So I sent him packing. Zero regrets.

i think zucker... i really wanted him & he was a dreamie of mine because he's such a cute little takoyaki, lol. but his exterior house doesn't really fit into the theme of my island, and i can only hear about bugs so many times... it makes me sad because he's sooo cute, but i just can't vibe LOOL

I wanted Beau for a while and when I finally got him I thought I was going to adore him. So far he’s been ok, but I haven’t fallen in love with him the way I expected to. His house design really isn’t helping matters either. I’ll probably give him a bit longer but there are a lot of lazies I want to try so we’ll have to see.

I don't really regret getting him, but I found Punchy on and island after getting Erik, and I thought I'd be a bit more excited to have him once he moved in. He's pretty much the exact same as Erik except he naruto runs, which is cute but I think I'll give him to a friend eventually.

I wanted Flora so badly that when I first saw her, I immediately invited her.
She's still very lovely, but most of her dialogue reminds me of my past villager, Bubbles, that talking to her makes me miss Bubbles more than actually liking Flora. Now I want Bubbles back.

I'm kinda the same. I found him on an island and planned to have him stay, but i wanted everyone out of starter interiors and i was not a fan of zucker's actual interior at all lol.

I had Sprinkle for a while too and I also noticed that she rarely changed clothes if at all? I only saw her wear a raincoat when it rained but other than that she never changed her sweater. She also doesn’t work out. Lol. I thought she was bugged. She moved out though and I let her.

Flora. I thought she was so cute. But then she lived on my island I was so annoyed with her speech patterns. It was sad cause I loved her design but every time I read her dialogue I just imagined this tall awkward girl with vocal fry talking to me, and I could not stand it.

I also had Piper and Candi who moved into my island, and I also couldn't stand them. I thought "Wow, I must just really hate Peppy villagers." Then I decided I needed one to round out my island, and got Bluebear. I love her. Just LOVE her.

After finding out about personality Sub-Types (Peppy A and Peppy B) and seeing who fit into where, I realized I just hate Peppy B. I know some people might say the difference is imperceptible, but I definitely noticed the nuances between the two, and never again will I have a Peppy B villager.

Now that you mention it, i dont recall seeing her workout ever! I guess running around pretending to be an airplane is her preferred form of exercise because that is the most she did lol!

Back in my New Leaf town, it was definitely Ketchup. I got her amiibo card and was SO HAPPY to have her--but then she was a peppy.. and I really can't stand most Peppy types. I loved her design but man I could not stomach speaking to her lol

In NL, Mott. I thought he looked really sweet with his glasses and gentle expression but then I found out he's a jock. Somehow the high pitched voice and energetic personality just don't suit that mellow aesthetic I saw in him. Pass.

Oh I forgot I had basically the same story with Kevin. He looked really cute when I first saw him, but then when I actually got him I got bored of him really fast...

i got his amiibo specifically for this game but when i finally invited him he just seemed kinda off
and i've kicked him out and reinvited him so many times trying to force myself to like him again but i can't seem to
which is a shame because he is adorable ♡
now i only use his amiibo to help others get him aha
