Do you have any pets in the game? Any bugs, fish, or sea creatures?

I have a Zebra Turkeyfish named Zeke. I caught him back in August 2023, and he’s been living with me ever since. I took him on a trip to paradise planning once. He’s helped me through all of the rough times, and I’m grateful to him for that.

I also sometimes bring him to my concerts. The last time I did that, Raymond walked by and was studying him. I thought that was cute. Raymond even sang with me afterwards.

I also took a picture of me and Zeke in my bedroom just now. He’s so cute.

I know that the Zebra Turkeyfish is pretty common and not that popular. But the first time I saw Zeke when I fished him up from the ocean, I thought he looked cool. I also didn’t know that his species was common back then.

I also changed some lyrics to a song to make the second verse about him. Whenever I sing the song, I always sing these lyrics for the second verse. Feel free to guess what the song is. It’s a little obscure and doesn’t really come on the radio. Here’s how my version of the second verse goes:
I own my own pet Turkeyfish. I get to watch him, name him. And his name is Zeke. I love him to bits.

I only play NL, but my pet usually a Raja Brooke butterfly who I affectionately call The Blue Raja after a character in Mystery Men. I don't always have it displayed, but that's only when I'm moving stuff around.

I still have my umbrella octopus,Spanky. He likes to put on a show.
I also have an umbrella octopus. His name is Octavian. I named him that in honor of Octavian who I once had as a villager but moved away in late November 2023 so Faith could move in. I wasn’t too torn up about it since he was a temporary resident until I could get Lyman. Octavian took Sheldon’s place in late October 2023.

When I first started playing, I used to keep fishes as a pet, but I ended up donating them to the museum.

I think I’ll get a fish and keep it as a pet! I’ll probably name it bubbles

It's a cute idea to have pets!

On one island, I know that I kept quite a few sea creatures in tanks to display as an aquarium, though I did end up taking it down. On my current island, the only pet I've kept is a whale shark, though I need to find a more permanent place for them. It's unfortunate that it sits in a pool though, rather than a tank, since I would love to be able to see its face! 💗

I like leaving snapping turtles in the open as pets. I wouldn’t sell them if i got one, i would just let them hang out outside.

I have a snapping turtle in my room named Fox Mulder and a snapping turtle in my kitchen named Astrid, both named after my dogs. Sometimes I forget who is who but either way, two snapping turtles based off of my dogs.

And then I've got a third snapping turtle. He's not based off of anyone he's just chillin'

while I don't currently have any pets, on my first island I had a Gigas Giant Clam and a Moon Jellyfish in my basement, which was an underwater themed. I didn't name them, though...
There are villagers with pets, though! And by that I mean, for example, Flurry. Her custom house has a hamster cage. For those who don't know, Flurry is a hamster. It's... weird. I just try not to think about it too much.

There's usually a spot for a mantis, an orchid mantis and some type of crab in my house. For some reason, I placed a dung beetle in my living room. They make me laugh with their ball of um. dirt. (;′ u `) Same with crabs, they're here mostly because real life crabs make me laugh. They walk sideways, what's not to like. (':
