I don't like them at all. What bothered me the most is how some cries don't sound anything like their original cries. Reshiram and Zekrom's new cries are the ones I dislike the most. Especially since B/W is my favorite game so far. Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, most of the Pokemon with cool cries are now way different. I get they're trying to make it realistic, but I think the past cries were fine.

but while i'm complaining i wish zekrom and reshiram's tails would light up even when not attacking

They've been messing around with the cries since G3.
I don't really mind it, I've kinda come to expect the change every time the series shifts to a new console.

PIKA though...

oh but i really do like how pikachu actually talks. was disappointed the others didnt.

I grew up on the old cries. Ergo I'm used to the old ones.

But no, I don't like the new cries. They're too organic now. I don't want realism in a game that's already too far away from reality.

It sticks out too much. No other Pokemon has its anime cry, not even Pichu or Raichu. If anything I feel they should either go with a full conversion, where all Pokemon have their anime cries, or just leave it.

Not just that it's an useless detail. Barely anyone even uses Pikachu to begin with.

i like them
think about it, if you want up to a rhinoceros in real life, it would grunt, not screech like a game boy

They're not nor rhinoceri, nor is it real life. If you want a real rhinoceros go out into the grasslands and force one into a little ball.

The new cries I don't mind, but I absolutely HATE the re-made cries from 1-3rd generation pokemon. Some don't even sound the same!

In the older games some were the same only with different pitch and speed, so to make X and Y more distinct and unique and somehow realistic, they would've made new cries.
I especially like Glaceon's and Aurorus' cries. They sound a lot like the Pok?mon should and it has that awesome echo.
Some of them still sound like white noise or static, but it doesn't really bother me.
Pikachu's new cry is annoying, though. I feel like every time I come across one I'm facing the irritating little **** from the anime, and as you guys above said, no other Pok?mon got their cry from the anime.

I like some of them.
I will say they absolutely butchered Volcarona's cry though.

i'm just glad that (most) dont make electronic screeches anymore
i really dont want pokemon to be too real life-y but i think cries are something that should be

Shiftry's cry no longer makes me want to burn the forest down near the community centre. I'd say the new cries are a solid 10/10

Not a big fan. Blaziken was my very first starter and though he stills sounds similar it's not the same. :( Also completely changing a bunch of other cries bothers me too.

I don't like them.

I like the original ones because they were distinct, but the new ones sound so much more muddled, muted, and they all sound the same. I know that some cries have different pitches and speed but the same tune, but they still stood out and I don't get that anymore. It's awful.

I don't like them. For the most part you can hear the original cry in most of the new ones (if not all?) but its got like a new garbled scream in front of the original sound that makes it sound more like an actual animal cry, which is awkward imo
