.-. i dont get why you would make a post without quoting.
Constantly quoting is annoying to me.
You're annoying to me.

Shame I can't do anything about it. =/
It's not like I can do anything about a bunch of teenagers on an Animal Crossing site making fun of a twelve-year-old.

Technically, twelve year olds aren't allowed since you have to be thirteen to make an account.

Plus, it's the internet, get over it or gtfo.

You don't have to be 13 to make an account, you just have to be 13 or older to have the profile thing or to have your birthday shown.

Nope, even if you're under 13 your account is terminated (unless you lie about your age). It's due to a law firm that was accepted (I forgot who made the law and why they did it though).

It pretty much means the same thing to me.

If people are going to come on and act like total morons and expect people to like them then they don't deserve to have an account.

and I knew I was right about the account thing, *censored.9.10* if you don't know the rules!

You're annoying and you remind me of nooky13, which is not good. I don't hate you, I just really don't like you and it would be better if you didn't copy Tye's thread. YOu pulled that attention whoring deal saying your mom came on and told us to stop teasing you... which was very unbelievable. You're not even a good liar. I recommend you just quiet down, or people will start to hate you. And we'll leave it at that.

Ummm....I've made accounts before with birthdays that were under 13, it just says something about a form that you have to have a parent sign if you want to have a profile or have your birthday shown.

Legally, you're not supposed to have an account.

If however, the admin allows it, you cannot post pictures of yourself, you cannot give away any personal info whatsoever. If you do, Jeremy (and now Miranda), You, and your parents could hit a very big legal issue.

Yeah, but that's with boards that haven't applied the age law. It's also a fairly new law (I think like early 2008). If I'm right, I do remember TBT applying the rule and having to ban accounts with the wrong ages. I could be wrong, but I do barely remember it :S .

12.1 COPPA Requirements:
You are required to protect the privacy of users under 13 years old. There are three types of registration for users under 13. You may select the type that fits you community and needs best, but you must enforce rules related to the registration type you select. You may not suggest or encourage users to lie about their age to bypass any COPPA registration/profile restrictions. You must remove any personally identifiable information from posted Content if the user has not filed a form. If you request personally identifiable information on your baord, you must specifically state it excludes users under 13 years old. If you become aware of a user under 13 years old that has not entered an accurate birthday, you must have them update their birthday in their profile. You are required to delete any users who mention that they are under 13 years old if you have opted to ban user under 13 years old from registering.
Source

What you're referring to is likely the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which is commonly mistaken to mean people younger than thirteen years-old aren't allowed on websites due to their content. In reality, it's an act meant to prevent them from giving out their personal information online.
COPPA Website

I used to think the same thing, as well, until I reviewed it awhile back. =p I'm pretty sure Jeremy has set it to allow members under the age of thirteen, since they're able to register with those ages.

Yes! Finally someone who knows what they're talking about.

Alright, sorry about the misunderstanding. It's been quite a while since I've last seen the COPPA law page, so I was wrong D: .
