Do you find yourself not playing as much ACNH anymore?

I've been playing a little less just because I've been busier, but I'm still really enjoying it and haven't gotten burnt out thankfully!

I am also playing less too because of work. I can't tend to my shop thread unlike before.

I'm playing less, but it's not due to burnout. I tend to go through phases regarding what sort of games I'm into, and at the moment I'm preferring hack and slash/RPGs to simulation games.

I burnt out after about a 1000 hours into the game after it came out, took a break for about a week or two and now i'm back in the grind but only this time I haven't played online. A lot of the pressure came from the feeling I had to keep up in nooks cranny and now that most shops are only taking tbt it just felt better to stay offline uwu I'll probably jump back into online trading after I tidy up my town! I haven't even gotten a 5 star town ;0; but i feel like i'll be a whole new person when I jump back in :>

I've finally reached a point where I can't progress much in terms of terraforming because I don't want to spend hours doing stuff only to have to tear everything down once new stores and buildings are introduced in the game, so I've left many empty areas I'm not satisfied with, but I can't do anything about it. The only thing I do is the usual chores: check the money rock, talk to my villagers, craft them stuff in hopes they'll give me their picture (got the first one yesterday after almost three months), check the stores, identify fossils and sell them, do the wedding pictures in a minute because I can't be bothered to do the same sets every single day, and exchange heart crystals... All in all, maybe a little bit more than an one hour a day or so.

Slowed down for me, mainly because I restarted my island and I'm feeling burned out with it.

Hasn't slowed down for me and I'm not feeling burnt out. I find that there's still lots for me to do. It took me a long time to finish terraforming and laying out furniture, and now I walk around trying to see if I can change anything to improve how it looks. I'll get an idea or I'll see a certain item and then I try to get a trade going. When I'm not doing that, I gather materials or work on getting villager photos. Having said all that, I do look forward to any new updates.

Yeah I'm burnt out. Recently started remaking my island and I'm done with the terraforming part (which was really fun actually), now I just have to rearrange my flowers and trees. But I can't tell you how demotivating it is to play when my shovels break so often to the point where I have to make one like 5/6 times a day, and I have no hardwood stored from the sheer amount of shovels I've used (compared to my 1,000s of stored softwood and wood). I have to farm for hardwood and then when my stone axe breaks............,,,,,
It's not fun at all, I hate this feature so much. Crafting in itself is fine but breaking tools got old 2 months ago.

I've been playing other games instead and still a lot of AC per day but once the island is how I want it the activity will probably drop off.

It depends on how I'm feeling. I'm still playing daily, but I am also still developing my island. Or tearing it down again to try to get the cliffs to be something I like. I have also gone back to playing New Leaf for a little bit daily. So, my total playtime for both games is about an hour to two hours a day depending on what I do.

I would suggest buy a shovel from Nook's Cranny, and some customization kits. Just repair your hovel by customizing it. And if you miss out, and it breaks, just buy another one and repeat. Shovels aren't worth the materials.

Just buy them at the store, I haven't crafted a tool for so long except for the stone axe

Same for me, I still play daily but it's not hours like it used to be. I personally felt I rushed the game..? With the trading, turnips, NMTs etc. I'm holding out on getting my dreamies and trying to get them naturally.

I do play every day but probably not as much as the beginning. I will occasionally log lots of hours because I'll obsess about something (like decorating a part in my house, trying to get pictures from my villagers, decorating my island according to the season, etc). Right now, I'm really into decorating a room in my home (after logging in 305 hours, I've only fully decorated 2 rooms, lol). So that has me pretty excited and keeps me playing the game on a regular basis. I'm definitely looking forward to the update, though.

NL has goals you look forward to achieving. Club LOL, Luna, Katrina, Nooks, etc...NH on the other hand doesn’t provide those incentives. Yes, you can terraform your island, trade (for those that have an online account), visit with friends. But the absence of so many staples from previous installments doesn’t encourage the dedication other AC games held.

i've slumped a little but for other reasons, when I DO play I play for a while tho so ig it evens out

i play now more than ever since i decided to redo my island lol i legit play from when i wake up to when i go to bed

I stopped playing some time ago, and it was because i got burnt out but i am starting to get in the mood for playing again! My brother who is new to the games stopped playing too but i am not sure if it is because of my same reason. He used to play sooo much and everyday so i wouldnt be shocked if that was why.

I still play every day and have yet to develop most of my island, but I have slowed down a lot.

I think most of my burn out came from online trading so I’ve taken a break that. Arranging trades and keeping track of my trading thread was really time consuming and mentally draining tbh. I’m mostly just playing on my own now, building up friendships with my villagers and developing my island when an idea strikes.

I have 90% of my wishlist now, all Celeste DIYs, most normal DIYs, and I’ve taken a break from turnips, so trading isn’t as rewarding for me anymore. idk

Nearly 450 hours in. Still over 5 hours a day. I feel like the game has a lot to offer to keep me occupied for some time to come.
