Do you ever go to Dream Towns to 'check out' potential neighbors?

I'm doing that right now. I find that sometimes when I see someone face to face, they're not what I had imagined. I also find that I will fall in love with someone I never expected to while I am in dreams.Does anyone else do this?

Yeah... I do too. I remember I wanted Rosie for the longest time, then when I finally got her, I just didn't like her as much as I thought I would have.
Don't get me wrong, Rosie's great. But... I just didn't "connect" with her. Heh, that sounds a bit weird. But I can't really think of any other wording.

Or Walt! He was in my brother's old town and I thought I wouldn't like him. You can guess what happened. :'D

Dream towns are pretty much how I decided I like Felicity so much too. xD

Dream towns are a great way to see how you feel about a villager - more than just a photo!

You can see them from all angles, see their house exterior and interior, see what clothes they are wearing.

I think it's great! I just wish there was a way to easily look for villagers instead of just town name or players name.

Omg yeeeessss, if I'm in a dream town that has one of my dreamies that I don't have yet, I always go to meet them! Like HHoney said, you can really get a feel for what it would be like having them in your own town!

I always scope out new dreamies in dream towns!! It's a great way to meet them without paying millions of bells, hehe. ^^"

Sometimes, but I guess my taste in villagers is quite different than rest as I didnt had much luck with villagers that interests me - I don't really want to nor have time to travel millions towns so I *maybe* see my dreamie in 1/100th town when I always see marshals, julians, lollys (or cats in general) , wolves and tigers cookie-cutter towns, I'ts kinda boring and probably I would have more luck rotating/getting them from cycling towns.

Mostly to see how their house looks like. A lot of my favourite characters have real ugly digs.

I did that for some villagers, but now HHD kind of helps with checking out villagers..like I never would have thought Becky was interesting til I seen her working in every shop so far lol.
