Do you ever get good stuff from shaking trees and do you even bother?

i used to never do it because i had too many trees, but now i have more palm trees and so it’s a lot easier. it doesn’t take me very long it’s the only time i’ve gotten different colour ways i think

Although I only shake trees on nook mile islands, I don’t bother in my own island anymore.

I used to shake trees often. I've gotten amazing furniture from it such as the upright piano, violin, antique furniture, etc. Although most of these are from the mystery islands. What I get from my island are pretty underwhelming.

Nowadays, I don't really bother. I focus more on chopping trees.

The items you get from them can be pretty cool but I really don't. Most of the important parts on my island (all the buildings and features) are very accessible, however the trees are not. First, I simply have too many of them and it isn't worth the time anymore. On top of that some of them are in cluttered patches, others are on top of decorative cliffs only accessible by ladders. Imagine using a ladder... No thanks

I do go for them whenever I visit a mile island, but that's very rarely for me.

I stopped shaking my trees a while ago, but the other day I did go around shaking them all as I needed more wood and thought I might as well clear out the wasps and furniture first, the first tree gave me a globe and then the second tree gave me... a globe... Thanks game. Wouldn't be that bad except I already have lots of globes

I've too many trees right now to bother shaking all of them, I do search for the item tree when on mystery islands though.

When I went island hopping for a villager the last time, I made sure to shake the furniture tree every time so I can finish the Nook Mile Reward. Now I never have to bother and I'm happier for it

If I've exhausted everything else I might shake trees, but generally I don't get good stuff, so I seldom bother.

Yeah weeds and non placed items, turnips outside will affect your rating.

Someone here said that weeds no longer affect rating. I tried to find some evidence of this and the only thing I found is that while weeds don’t lower your town rating, not having any gives you bonus points.

I hate shaking trees since I'm always wary of wasps. I don't do it everyday unless I want to start farming wood materials or I'm trying to find a wasp nest to make medicine for a sick villager. But on mystery islands, I shake the trees for the one wasp and one furniture item lol.

Yes, I will not stop shaking trees until I get my two furniture items of the day! Got the best items this way, like the simple panel & half height panel I was hunting for days!

I've gotten a lot of good items from my trees. I shake all the trees and catch all my wasps. The mystery island items always suck, so I never do that.

I shook trees until I got the final shady shakedown NM goal, then I stopped. It's easier to find different color variants of items by popping balloons.

I don't bother to do it. My island has full of trees. I rather catalog trade with other players.

I never do it on my island because I don't want to get stung by all the wasps or have to catch them but I do on mystery tours
