Yes I get the temptation at times. I might use my brothers digital version to make a new town since he gave up playing acnl.

I've been having the strongest urge to turn my cycling town into a third town and do either the one year challenge or the summer challenge. but since my friend's dreamie moved in, I can't exactly reset. :/

Sometimes, but that's why I own 3 copies of the game.

Even with my less-than-ideal first choice map in my main town, I've worked too long and too hard to get rid of everything for a straighter river. XD

This was a habit i had from when ACNL first came out, and in the first four months of having the game i reset so many times, but i finally kept my town i made on 17th October 2013. I'm so glad i finally stuck to it because i want to have a town that i've had since the beginning which is almost true of this one, so i can reminisce all the memories i've had in that town. Luckily i have a second cartridge which i haven't made a town on yet, i think i'm going to use that town to make an ACNL video blog series, and perhaps after a year will reset it again. I also hope to use that town to time travel etc. because it reminds me of when i was younger playing ACCF i'd time travel and it was quite fun and a wreckless sort of way to play the game just to really be relaxed with the rules. When the next animal crossing comes out (here's hoping), my second cartridge town will be the one i may use hacks on too. I will keep my main town legit, because that's the one where i've worked hard to earn everything and would like to keep it that way, but for my second town i will use any hacks that will be available. I don't want to use any hacks on ACNL at all while it is the latest AC game out, because that destroys the fun and memories, but once a newer version is out, i'll be too busy playing that and so i'll use hacks on ACNL to have some fun in the game. Also, if you use hacks, it helps satisfy your new map needs, which i look forward to in the future, but by then the novelty may have worn thin. It is the case now in fact, that although when i was playing ACCF i never used hacks, now that ACNL is out, and i'm too busy to work hard on ACCF, i now use hacks on ACCF
