Do you ever feel like you just got a perfect layout,or you have a perfect town, and you can't help hate it even though it looks perfect,or find a "flaw" that you loved a few minutes before?I just reset and found a nice layout, but I hate it now and I have no idea why...:( I would hate to reset now because I just spent 600 tbt bells to buy 12 mill bells, once we made the deal I reset for the same reason above,so I had to do the trade on another file and take up a hour of moving bells to my new town.I hate my layout now and want to reset...Does this happen to anyone else,or am I just over obsessive about my town?:P

If you have no reason as to why you hate your new layout, then there is no point to reset your town. What does your map look like?

Eh, I think that maps that aren't "perfect" can be fun since you have more of a challenge and they end up looking more natural too.

I think a lot of people here just find something to 'hate' for an excuse to reset. They become addicted to resetting. I have things I hate about my town. Tons of them. I have NEVER reset my first town and I never will. If you spend all your time nit picking about something in your town that is as stupid as, and not saying this is your reason at all!, town hall roof color, train, FRUIT... I mean.. come on, you're ALWAYS going to find something wrong. Just deal with it and leave it be. Those little 'flaws' is what makes YOUR town unique. You're always going to make posts asking someone else's advice and you're always going to get the same exact answers.

I'm not trying to seem rude or mean, but I have seen dozens of these and the answers are always identical. I personally think you should keep your town. Don't waste your time resetting because chances are, you're just going to want to reset again next week.

Make your town work! You can make it beautiful! If you do choose to reset, good luck! I sincerely hope you find the perfect map for you. I would work around my map and make something beautiful out of whatever part of my town is bothering me.

I've never resetted like montymonkey. I cannot relate, I've actually loved my town map. Sure, the caf? placement isn't all that great but I've learned to deal with it.

I didn't know you could reset when I first started, so I got what I got. Now I love it. I do reset a lot IG for small things, I also did camp reset, plot reset, etc. My 4th character I built and demolished a few times, but now I'm happy with how she turned out, her house, etc.

I see the temptation, but honestly, if you're just randomly resetting, you might be doing it forever. The resets I've done have always been with a specific point in mind. So I reset til I get that, and then move on. It's different from resetting the ENTIRE town over and over again. Do you even know what kind of map, fruit, villagers etc you're looking for? If you're just looking for perfection, you might never get it...

I think also you'll get bored with the game. Since the real fun, I think, starts once you get going after a week or so...so if you're still stuck in the beginning stages, you might kind of kill it for yourself.

I've only reset once, mostly because I wanted to change the gender of my mayor and a few of my favorite villagers moved without warning. Since I reset, I'm enjoying the game more. I don't think that any town layout is perfect, anyways. I think that making the map you chose work is one of the fun things in the game.

The only reason I reset my town is that I hadn't played for a while. I hate going back to a town and seeing how many villagers had moved.
