Do you earn more bells by selling your native fruit in foreign islands?

In new leaf you'd earn more by doing so, I curious if its the same in new horizons.

Do any of you guys know?

Yes. If you visit the island of someone who has a different fruit than your native fruit, you will earn more bells.

my friend tends to come over to sell her native peaches on my island (i have native pears) - so yes, yes it does!

I leave a ton of oranges by the dock that leads to dodo airlines, waiting for a chance to travel and sell them. Isabelle thinks she is in charge of the island, though, and she will let you have it in the island review for leaving items out.

To be honest, I really don't bother doing that, but I probably should as I am running low on bells! XD

I'm to lazy to go online just to sell fruit.. But I have other fruits than my native one growing in my island.

Yes, I made around 15k from selling nearly 30 pieces of native fruit (I think? it's been a while). They're pretty lucrative.

Yes, but you're better off just planting foreign fruit, and selling that in your town.
