~Do you do villagers requests no matter that they will trash they own homes?~

I always do their requests because I want the pictures. However, I really regret giving Stitches a fossil piece because he's slapped it in the centre of his home. ): Hopefully he removes it or asks me to buy it off him again.

The exact same thing happened to me!

I've been more strict about villager requests; if it's a fish or a bug then most of the time I flat-out refuse. Especially if their house already looks like a zoo. It took me quite a while to restore Roscoe's house to something that looks nice and actually habitable.

But I spoil them with any other kind of requests. I've stockpiled a crapton of perfect fruit just for the occasion...

mostly yes. i try to find furniture that fits into their homes most of the time but other times, i just can't be bothered, especially when i don't like their home anyway.

sometimes i forget to catch a fish or bug they requested, though.

even if it ruins there house, I give them furniture, bugs, fossils, and fish. Pippy STILL has a cicada in her house >_> Most of the houses in my town are ruined except for Mint's, and possibly Genji.

i dont mind if they have a fish or a bug. pietros original house is so gross i want to redo it completely in my own way. though that makes me feel like a very domineering person.

As long as I plan on keeping the villager. I've never cared much about their homes being trashed. O'Hare's and Skye's are both wrecked, haha.

I used to sell fossils to my villagers because they buy it higher price than Reese do. But now I regretted that on how they placed TWO or THREE big bone in their house, hardly got space to walk...........I stop now. I don't care if they replace and furniture but I feel so sorry and guilty when I gave Coco to my friend with TWO big fossil beside her house entrance...I totally ruined her house...lol

When it's a furniture request I either ignore it, or give them something that will match their home. I actually don't like it when half their home is fossils or fish, unless they only have one fish tank or something. Freya unfortunately has 3 fish tanks (including an awful ugly sea bass smack dab in the middle of her house). So I stopped accepting finding them fish.

I will usually replace that with sending them letter and nice furniture and trying to get them to hang out at my house or go to theirs.

I felt really guilty when one of my villagers filled his house with all the fossils I put up on the flea market, but then a couple of weeks after it happened I popped 'round to his house and all his furniture had reverted back to his default stuff! So I don't feel guilty for "ruining" their houses anymore, I'd rather get my friendship levels up! :p

I will always say yes but not always do it. If it's a valuable/hard to find bug/fish I'd rather sell it and get the money. Last night someone asked me to get them a stringfish. I actually did happen to catch one but I sold it. Right now I trying only to give them fruit, nothing that will take up space in their house cause I am trying to test a theory.

Everyone knows how villagers will randomly put pieces of furniture and things in retail. Well someone here suggested that if you don't give them anything to take up space in their house eventually they will start to run low on furniture and will put pieces of the sloppy set in retail instead(dk if this also applies to the cardboard set). Merry did put the sloppy table in there(I bought it immediately) and it was never in her house(I missed playing like a week when that showed up in there so dk if it's counts toward that theory).

Last night it occurred to me that I need to stop selling/trading items in my bags to them that they run up to me and ask for. Those are also taking up space in their houses. :)

I usually do all the errands, even if it thrashes their houses. I just can't say no to my villagers.. Seeing them happy makes me happy too.
I only refuse when they ask to buy my shirts, because I care about villagers' fashion choices. I usually like them keeping their initial outfits.

i'm so attached to my villagers, I do it even if I have their pic and it trashes their home :)

omg this^ if they ask to buy a shirt from me I always refuse :3

Maybe it doesn't look good, but I really like giving them what they want to be honest! It just feels more natural to me, that they kind of choose what they want to have in their houses and that their interior becomes unique and changes over time.

I rarely help with fish and bug requests, but if they ask for furniture, I usually try to give them something that will look nice in their house. They also ask for fruit and delivery-runs a lot, so I can often still get their pictures even though I don't help them out with all their requests.

I try to help my villagers with as many requests as I can, I just like to see them happy. ^^

Same.

But when I don't, I sometimes give them what they want, depending on what it is. I care about their house/clothes more than anything :| It feels too empty when their house are so messed up, it's like, it's not them anymore. It's just me though. Most of the reasons I move someone out that I like, their house is a mess and is in no way of saving ;-;

You can get their house back to original. Find out what their original furniture was and then send one piece a day in the mail. I used wrapping paper when I was getting Lolly back to original and she accepted every single piece and every single piece went back where it was supposed to. She even put the pickle jar back on her large alpine table. Since then, she's made a few changes, but it's largely back to original. I need to work on Pompom next, because her house is almost completely bare.

I used to until I went into their homes and saw the damage and horror I caused. Then I went on a mission to fix their homes.

I don't mind giving them creatures like butterflies and goldfish.. Nothing room destroying.

Now I only do requests I can control more. No more sharks!!

;u; I almost always do their requests, unless it's a bug or fish that I just have no luck in catching. I never realized how important it was to some people that villagers have their original clothes/house until I joined these forums. ;__; Sometimes I feel like those opinions are starting to rub off on me.. LOL. but as of now I still give them all the ugly bugs/fish my villagers want. 8D
