Crossbreeding, ftw . Watering them all is a huge pain (I have over 400 hybrids, excluding golden roses), but it's worth it.

I did hybrids for months and I've learned they're the biggest waste of time because they die way to easily. I'm now tired of them so I'm replacing all my hybrids with gold roses.

Of course, I do!
I ended up with around 300 hybrids, before I'll ever lose my town.

You could combine 2 or more red roses at same place to spawn black roses. If you water a wilted black rose with a golden can, you can spawn a gold rose. The good news is they won't ever wilt!
