Do you design your island to be the same year-round?

I'll be changing outdoor zones and items in shops/markets to match the season. I'm kind of content with the terraforming I have currently other than a few minor edits I can make any time. I'm looking forward to changing some of my areas to mush themed in the autumn and a frozen paradise in the winter! I wont be changing bushes although I may change flowers if my combos look too weird in the winter.

I have 4 simple patterns for each season I use to decorate around the Able Sisters, I don’t think it’s fair that the Nooklings get to decorate for each season and the Able Sisters don’t lol. I have a flower pattern for spring, seashell for summer, maple leaf for fall and snowflake for winter.

Also if they have fences for autumn or maybe some kind of garland with Christmas lights for winter, I’d definitely implement those on my island to fit the season. Might also get rid of the coconut drinks and other warm weather items when fall rolls around.

I only have this one area that I plan to change with each of the seasons (besides for the Summer where it will look the same as it does during the Spring... which is this design.) but everything else will remain the same regardless of seasonal changes.​
