Do you design your homes for streetpasses or for dream addresses?

Neither, LOL. I would've chosen the third option, but I do spend a lot of time on rooms. I don't have a dream address yet (Frankly I am an extreme perfectionst so I am too scared to upload it lol), and I don't streetpass literally ever, so I just design the rooms because I like it. Whenever someone uses my house ABD during trades, I get lots of compliments about my main room, so that's a good thing.

I spent a lot of time on my rooms, decorating and redecorating over and over again. But not for the streetpass, and not for a dream address.

I first did my house for the HHA points so I'd have a high rating when I streetpassed someone, but after looking at streetpass houses and seeing that they don't look good most of the time, I decided to say heck with it and designed houses that I would like to live in. I'm much happier with my houses now. I spent a lot of time on each of them and I don't care what Lyle thinks anymore.

The first few times I made my town I designed my house however I liked it. Later, I started having sets in my rooms but made sure the items were order-able. Once I crammed as much furniture as I could into my house as a sort of furniture store for street passers. Now I don't really get many street passes, so I'm designing my house like a convenience store for my town. My other houses I'm planning to make a bakery or a fishery/sushi house, going with a kind of restaurant/store theme for all my houses.

I don't put much thought into dream address or streetpass. I put whatever I think will look good. If anyone who sees my house doesn't like it....that's their problem.

I turned off StreetPass so I wouldn't get voids. I used to clog my home with gyroids for the HHA points but one day I was like "screw this" and cleaned out my home to my liking.
My homes are sort of to impress dreamers but also are made to my liking. The homes usually have a sort of theme too, like Diana's is supposed to be a castle, and Stella's is based around the sky, space, stars etc.

I should have included a 4th option: I spend a lot of time designing my rooms, but only because it makes me happy.
