The triangle grass has more vibrancy to the pattern for sure.
I like it for certain towns that are busy and exciting city themes.
Circle seems more calm.

Definitely, I can only deal with circle grass! I don't like the squares or triangles. I've been this picky since I got Wild World in 2006/7 and now all of my AC towns have circle grass lol.
I like how it turns into stars in winter too.

I literally do not even know what type of grass I have. I would have to log in to see. I have to admit it is making me curious, though. I truly do not care which one, because I have obviously not noticed it in 4 years.

I wouldn't reset a town for the sake of the grass, if that's what you mean. But if I could design the town anyway I wanted from scratch, right from the beginning, then I would have a preference for triangles or circles! (I have squares in my town though)

I like the triangle grass because I like the sharp angles more than round circles. I'm not sure what my town has though. I care more about my town fruit than my town grass shape. I didn't realize there were different grass shapes until a took a pattern request to make circle grass for different seasons.
Because of this thread, I started paying attention and found out that in my square grass town's campground... there's triangle grass?? I made sure and it's really triangles! Can you guys check if yours are different too??

I like circle grass the most, second would be triangle grass. If I got a town with square grass I would reset :/

There's way too many variables when starting up an ACNL town for me to worry about the grass shape. 
"Oh, I have perfect villagers, my desired fruit, a wonderful beach/river/Re-Tail placement, but DAMMIT I HAVE CIRCLE GRASS RESET!!!"
I probably like triangle grass the best, but really they're all good to me.

I didn't even know there was different shapes until I got on this forums years ago. I still play on my original first town so it's not something I tried to reset for or anything. My grass mostly gets covered by my path and flowers so you can barely see it anyways lol.
Yes. I feel like it's kind of a silly thing to care about, but I do care. When I was starting my new town (current one) last year, I told myself I'd be ok with circle grass or square grass, but deep down I think I could only accept circles. It's the most pleasing to the eye imo. I really didn't want triangle because my last town had that, and also I once saw someone say it looked like Doritos, and I didn't want to keep thinking about that every time I walked outside
Like p much everyone else here, I didn't even know grass shape was a thing before, lol. It all looks the same to me, & gets covered anyway. When i started my town, Iwas more concerned with the layout of it/where the pwps were placed next to each other (I wanted retail & the town hall to be very close to each other) I did not reset my town like 100 times when I first got AC just for a grass, but Im pretty sure I have circle grass.
