This is my first Animal Crossing game, and I wasn't a fan when I learned about HHA. Thanks, but I don't need AI judging me on my interior design sense >:

I especially wasn't a fan when I learned you get more points for having a complete set in one room. Why discourage people from being creative and picking individual pieces they like? I'm somewhat into interior decorating IRL too, and I like to mix and match rustic pieces with more "elegant" ones, so I sort of do the same thing in-game. I want my house to sort of reflect my personal style, and I feel like being all "matchy-matchy" is just so terribly boring. Anyone can accumulate pieces that are all labeled the same way and stick them in a room. It's the individual pieces that really show a person's style. :)

As for Feng Shui, it's just too much effort to reconcile where I want to put something and where Feng Shui would have me put it.

So I choose to ignore both of these things. I'm curious how many others agree with me.

I am going to unlock all the HHA unlockables and then get rid of most of my full sets. But I will keep some full sets anyway cause I like them.

Luck seems to be pretty lacking this game. I've put on items Katrina has said are lucky and had nothing different happen that day. So I've not bothered with it in my house cause I can't really see what it's going to change.

I'm aiming for all the HHA awards and then I'll design how I like. I usually pay attention to feng shui though.

I don't really "try" to do feng-shui, I just put whatever I want in my house,
I'm 5k away from getting 100k hha points too ^^

I took the HHA scoring as a challenge :k I really enjoyed watching my score go higher and higher, and the gold exterior isn't too shabby either. My mayoral mansion has 5 complete sets and tons of other theme-matching trinkets from when I beat the HHA. I worked too hard to trade for all those items; I don't have the heart to take it down. I actually enjoyed collecting all the sets, plus it's not like anyone actually lives there anyway; so what if I have 5 different beds? xD But to be more "individual", I did take customisable items to Cyrus xD The nice thing about Animal Crossing is that there are a bunch of ways to play; you can ignore or embrace the HHA, and either way is fine :)

I did ignore Feng Shui though, it didn't give enough HHA points for me to worry about it.

I don't care for either BUT I am aiming for the 1.1 mil score so I can get all the gold exterior items. Once that's done I'll probably change everything back to how I originally wanted so no biggie.

Not after completing the design challenge and getting all the gold exteriors for the main (Mayor's) house. I am currently getting rid of most of my furniture sets and putting together what pleases me not Lyle!

I've been trying to boost my HHA score... It feels good going in and having it creep (ever so slowly) upwards. I'm not very design minded though, so it's nice to just be able to think 'okay, I'll just work on obtaining matching sets'.

I've hit 150,000 points and that was pretty much because I have 3 full sets and most all of the other pieces to 2 other sets. I also have one junk room with things all over the floor. Didn't pay any attention to Feng Shui. I don't plan on doing the theme challenges unless it is sometime in the future and I'm bored with what I'm doing now.

It feels nice to have a high score, but at the end of the day, I just want my house to look how I want it to look. And while that usually does involve complete item sets, I have no problem mismatching things if I so choose.

I'm not bothering with Feng Shui, I am trying to do the theme challenge though and have just hit 700,000 points but can't get past that.

I enjoy the challenge, itself, to get all the prizes, and just so I feel accomplished in completing the challenge. :) But once I'm done with that, I'll decorate how I please. It's also fun to try to gather all the parts I need for it. Just adds to the game, I think.

I used too care in my old town and I got the gold exterior but it wasn't that exciting for me do now I just do what I wanna do and not care about hha points!

Nope.

Feng Shui I haven't even looked into. However I have been told I have good luck because of some green items at the front of my house or something, but I don't really care. I don't care about HHA points either.

I like doing my own thing and at least try to be somewhat creative, if at all haha. I like mixing sets and doing separate general themes for each room. Next up is a bar down in the basement.. maybe I can get Lyle and his hater crew to wear some beer point goggles..

HHA? No. Feng Shui? Yes. Because I like having good luck with stuff. But I only do it in my main room, Not sure if it works in other rooms, But I would only ever devote one of my rooms to feng shui. I hate the way it looks.

Personally I don't care what HHA has to say about my house. I have certain things (such as a dresser) facing the wall in my kitchen so it looks like a counter instead of a dresser. I looked at my HHA score out of curiosity the other day and they were mad at me for having things facing the wall. As for Feng Shui, I don't really know anything about it.

Yup i care about HHA
have 100,000 points atm :)
Im styling my house like a proper interior :p with a kitchen/bathroom/garden/ etc

My house is barely upgraded at the moment, so I don't really care too much about points right now. I'm using a full series for my main floor because I like the way it looks, but my other two rooms are kind of haphazardly put together.

However, I do eventually want to get all the HHA unlockables, so I guess I care about the points in that way. I probably wont be using the golden house exterior parts, but I still want to have the option be there.

I hate Lyle's reviews. I have seven pieces of the Robo series, yet he says my robo chair isn't worth very many points.
