I'm trying to care about natures a little bit, I rather not to have a hindering nature.

It really annoys me when I discovered my Malamar had a Timid nature, and it's actually meant to be a bulky physical attacker. It's already level 40 you expect me to find and train another Malamar up to level 40?!

To people who play competitively, yes this matters alot.
to me, not really

YES!

I caught 5 Slowpokes and chose whichever is the best. My Slowking is a Calm Natured-one and I'm happy about it :D

I don't battle competitively, and it doesn't really have an effect in the main game, so no it doesn't matter to me.

All of the Pokemon I've caught have been the first of their species that I encountered. I wouldn't be surprised if none of them had a nature that augmented their strengths *shrugs*

Yes natures and IVs are important for getting higher stats.

I have an Excadrill with an Adamant nature, top attack IVs and fully attack EV trained, and it gets its speed doubled in a sandstorm. It hits like a truck.

Sort of, but I find that abilities are often more important during normal gameplay. Like Skrelp. It has the choice of Poison Point of Poison Touch. There's no point having one with Poison Touch because it's a special attacker once it evolves.

Edit: I think there needs to be a third option for this poll, like "sometimes" or something.

Natures are the second easiest to influence and are just as important as the EVs and IVs.

It doesn't bother me so much, I like having a cute mofo of a Pokemon ^.^ I know when I catch them whether they're going into my team or not.

I?m trying to get into competitive, so yes, I only EV train a pokemon if it have the nature that I want, that being said I only have 2 EV trained pokemons so far, and I?m not even sure that I gave them the best possible EVs.

If you post your set here, I can check the EV spread

Yes of course, but till a certain extent. I am not a competitive player and do not wish to become one since my 2 best friends do not play Pok?mon X or Y, and they’re the only people I’d like to battle against.
As far as it does concern me, it greatly bothers me having a Pok?mon with a nature that decreases one of the stats it really needs, e.g. I have a Ralts with a nature that decreases its special attack, making its attacks very weak which bothers me a lot.
Yes I care about them, but no I don’t go as far as resetting the game several times just to get the perfect nature. I’m easily satisfied and won’t bother to get a new one unless it has a really bad nature.

It doesn't even matter if you're just going to play the game. Just pick six of your favourite Pokemon, have a BIT of versatility in terms of typing, and give them all hard hitting reliable moves.

i don't really care about natures, I never have and I don't understand EV training (if someone would like to explain it to me, just PM me lol ) I just pick pokemon I think look cool.

I have Sylveon with Max SP Def. and max SP Att, and the rest in HP, I?m thinking about resetting it, and put max SP Def, and max HP instead.
and I have Gengar with max SP Att, and Speed, and the rest in HP aswell.

^ I'm such a noob when it comes to the EV training :/

search in google, youtube, whatever unreliable source there is on the internet. ev training is really easy and less tedious when compared to stuff like egg-move and iv breeding.

I like natures over others, but I don't reset for them. I have a jolly natured Espeon that can outspeed anything.

It could be his nature, and or the amount of Zubats team Rocket had XD

If I catch a pokemon I intend to train for special attack and its nature favours attack and/or does not favour special attack I will be getting another one. Otherwise not completely bothered.

I just noticed that the summary in X and Y actually tells you the highered and lowered stats from the nature

highered status is a pale red, and lowered status is a pale blue.
