do you buy or craft tools?

I buy them now. The Colorful fishing rod with the rubber ducky bobble is the cutest. I carry around a few customization kits and refresh my items once a day or so.

i used to always buy them as i was lazy and didn’t want to waste materials but now that i’m working on my nook mile achievements, i’ve taken to crafting them instead :’^)

I buy the tools that I use on the daily since they're cuter. But I also use all the extra branches and materials I pick up to craft tools to work towards the nook miles achievement. Then I just sell them after.

I'll craft new fishing rods and nets, since I always have sticks and iron nuggets, but I'll usually buy the others because I don't chop wood much and don't always have it on hand.

I've actually started buying the flimsy shovels in bulk, both in the store and on the nook mile Islands from Wilbur just to save on hardwood. But for the most part, I go with whichever I'm closer to (the store or a craft bench)

I was crafting like crazy so I could get the last tool crafting stamp. Now that I have it, I just buy them. I also have a lot of bells, and nothing to spend them on, so I might as well but my tools.

I used to craft them, and I still do every now and then, though buying them is so much more convenient and the tools in the store are so much cuter! I especially love the colourful fishing rod with the rubber ducky on the end and the star net!

I used to buy them since crafting each one individually is still a pain but, now, I use tools so little that I just make them whenever I happen to need them. Mostly shovels because I‘m very nearly done with bugs and fish, so... won’t need them at all afterwards :/

Eh. It depends. If i've got the materials on me or it just requires me to pick up a few sticks I'll craft them. If I'm feeling lazy or don't have the materials on me I just buy them. I'm not always going to chop a ton of wood to get what I need if I can just quickly purchase it.

it honestly really depends on what i'm going for; if it's for anything that i can buy from nook's cranny and have it look amazing like the outdoorsy set of tools, then i will most definitely buy them. i'm not sure why, but i really love the look of the set, and the colour options when customizing them are amazing as well.

if i'm going to be using my axe, however, i generally always will craft a new one once it breaks. i'm not sure why; i think i have a nook miles achievement to make tools, so that could be why it's been instilled in me to make my axes fresh.

I dont have a set way that I always 100% follow. Most of the time I try to craft my tools just so I can finish getting the nook mile stamps achievement for that, but I certainly have lazy moments where I just run into the shop and buy a tool quickly instead
