i used to but now i stopped and here's why (a friend told me this):

your nails are made out of dead bone marrow. and so are your eyeballs. so you might as well just chew on an eyeball its the same thing. or instead you could get dead road kill off the side of the road and chew on its bones. yummmmmmmmmm
