I do not. I don't recall my parents grounding, maybe just a restriction maybe for a hour on the television but that is possibly the only thing I got restricted. But to say grounding kids is not my thing. It just makes the kid more negative. I can understand if you go out parting and crash the car then that is a exception.

No I don't.
It's just gonna make the kid more pissed off, making them do things to make them grounded again.

Does your parents restricting you from playing video games for a week considered grounding?

What happened to physical punishment?

Get a tree, snap a twig, make your kid wear shorts.

Wear em out

idk i think it sometimes works.. then there are those kids who are like
"well, im already grounded so i can go do whatever i want, nothin will happen cause im already grounded.."
but if you do get grounded, it has to be for something thats worth getting grounded for. not something stupid.

Won't they get even more grounded?

ya.. but they don't really care.
cause like lets say your grounded from the computer
you get on the computer and get grounded longer
so you do it again, and get grounded longer.
either way you still get on the computer.

I guess if it works. I rarely, if ever get grounded, so it doesn't really affect me.

Nice point. :)
But still, if you just follow the grounding, you can go on as long as you want without worrying about being caught.

Anouther good point, lol.

No ; grounding just makes everything worse than it already is.
My mum just yells, and gives me an hour long lecture.

My real life friends are afraid to get grounded. Their parents thinks that if you ground them from the computer they start to be a "good child" or something...

I would much rather being grounded then getting hit and having to miss a week of school. -_-

My parents ground us, technically. But all they do is say like, we can't go out and do something with friends for a week. Like maybe go to the movies.
