I'll admit i don't send my peeps mail that often, though i feel a little guilty for not doing so.
Its just so tedious.

They should make it so that you can stuff you letters in your mailbox and is up to the mailpelican to actually send them. Going to the mail store is tedious.

Yes, I do. I mail at least 4 letters per day. I'm fast at typing, so it doesn't take long. I usually attach some paper or fruit or something they've put in Re-Tail that I want back in their house, in hopes of getting a gift in return.

Nah... I can't think of anything to say in letters to villagers apart from stuff along the lines of 'Here, have a present!' when I'm sending them gifts. I know I need to send letters for the badge and to increase friendships with my dreamies but I can never be bothered to do it.

I. hate. it. It's the most annoying part of my day because it takes so long to type things out. I literally just send letters that say "hi!" now just because its easier xD

In the beginning I found it took me forever to write the letters. My main town mayor has her badge but still sends some letters when needed.
My side players started writing letters and having fun with the villagers.
One letter was I need help with a crossword puzzle. It's three letters, a colour and starts with R. Send that one to the villager that sent me the crossword puzzle letter help.
Another one was I put 8 eggs in the cake and it's running all over the place. Can you help and bring paper towels?
Each day it went down an egg.

I put address letters in my side players saved mail. One extra player has B slot full of address letters. Trade the red letters for some address letter, write, send and than get my red letters back.

It's too tedious. I only send mail for fruit, but I have all the fruit now. Mailing is useless. Villagers love to mention their letters so I don't send letters so they don't talk about it.

I really dislike writing letters.... It takes so long to type. Although I've found that since I've been playing online with people more, my typing skills have increased. But it's still incredibly tedious, as other people before me have said.

When the villagers ask me if I like writing letters, I always say yes even though I'm lying. I hate writing and receiving letters. The only thing I like getting letters for is to hold my tools, but even then I could just have a bunch of letters that I wrote and didn't send and shove my stuff in there.

If I could handwrite letters that would be better, but y'know, that's impossible, haha.

I wrote enough letters to get the gold badge and then never again. I used to make them somewhat conversational (hi, how was your day, you're cool, etc.) but towards the end I just started writing lyrics to whatever songs were stuck in my head haha. It would be more enjoyable if they could actually respond to what you say as opposed to just generic responses.

I send a pack of 4 letters every few days, rotating which of my favourite villagers I send them to. It can be tedious, but I usually type out a long, somewhat silly message relating to the gift I'm attaching or something the villager did/said recently.

i usually write a villager letters and attach clothing in it that i want them to wear.
usually because one villager will convince another villager to wear some god-awful get up and i feel the need to fix it as best i can.
for a while i had all the crankies in my town wearing the pleather vest from gracies. it was adorable.
