Do villagers have unique dialogue?

I saw someone saying that villagers should have exclusive dialogue. Then this happened:

If you don't want to click it, it's Mira saying:
Haha! That bunny hood really looks good on you!
Of course, I might be a little biased... cottontail!

My other uchis have commented on my bunny hood, but they've never said this. Is it a coincidence or is it unique dialogue?

I don't think they do. I think it is a mix between species and whats it called again... um... behavior? Like snooty and stuff, I forgot the word.

I remember Charlise saying that she was afraid of Marcel because he wrestled a bear. I thought because she her self was a bear she was scared. But then Renee said the same thing after Charlise moved out.

Unfortunately everything kind of personality would have the same dialogue. I've had Mathilda say how she was the fastest kangaroo in my town for years which I thought was cool because kangaroos are pretty fast in rl but in my cycling town, I've had Friga say the same thing and she is a penguin o.o (the disappointment lol)

But I think the costumes are an exception. I've walked around in a cat outfit and Teddy said something like "you should try being a bear sometime" xD

I was wearing a bear outfit once and Nate warned me to "not copy [his] style" but I think it was a coincidence haha!

i think sometimes in rare, terrifying cases, the villagers display self-awareness (!!!) and seem to understand what species they are
but i think that's the only exception unfortunately :-(
