1 is where I'd build a bridge, 2 is where I'd place a 2nd or 3rd character. (also where I put tents during plot resetting)

If I put my cafe in the 1 location I'd lose the possibility of adding a bridge there (I don't think I'd make too much of a difference but I'd like at least one horizontal bridge I think somewhere)
2 means I'd need to dig around for a new house place.

....sos.
(I actually should've placed my mayor's house in 2 but I didn't realize I was just far enough away that the waterfall/ocean noise wouldn't an issue oops)

I'm not quite sure what you mean, are you trying to decide between 1 & 2 for bridge placement? I'm assuming that also means that where you have the other two bridges are permanent.

What I would do is check them both out with Isabelle. Bridges can be tricky to place and you may find that exactly where you want the bridge may not be feasible, and that makes your answer a bit more simple! I would also refrain from placing your Cafe until you are 100% sure on the bridge placement, cos its permanent and if you change your mind later its a no go (learnt that the hard way in an early map of mine)

While bridges require a LOT of space to build, once done you can place pwps and house quite close to them, and with the space available in spot 2 I think you could easily place the bridge and still have enough room comfortably for another character house!

I'd suggest actually trialling both spots with a cheaper style bridge and see which one flows best for your map, you can always demolish them later :)

Hope this helped a little, sorry about writing so much lol
