Do I Really Need a Waterfall?

Just wondering, as I could hop onto other people's islands to catch those fish who swim on the clifftops. Thing is, I've accidentally placed Marina's house on top of the waterfall, she can get out but only just. So I decided to demolish it. Do you think it's really necessary for a waterfall?

Nope! There aren't even any fish that only spawn on waterfalls.

I don't believe so. I don't think there's even any fish in this game that require a waterfall. So if you don't want it, then get rid of it!

Well you don't really need one if you have others you can depend on to catch those river clifftop fish then

Fish can be caught on river-cliff not on the waterfall. But it’s your choice if you want to remove it,

Okay cool! I think the stringfish can only be found on the clifftops.

Wait, rephrase that, the pond on the cliffs. I had to remove them too as I couldn't fit them either lol

Yeah Stringfish, golden trout, cherry salmon, and char can only be caught in rivers on cliff top areas (maybe other fish as well but those are the ones I know lol).

So if you already have those fish then yeah no need for waterfalls or rivers on your cliffs unless you want them.
