Do I need two friend codes for two physical copies of ACNL?

I just bought a second physical copy of ACNL because I want to remake my town but I have some dreamies in my original town and I want to transfer them over. Now, if I want my friends to visit my NEW town, do I need a separate friend code (therefore a separate DS), or can I have my gates open in my new town and when my friends go to see what towns are open, my new town's gates will be open?

If I can't have people come to my new town, is there a way to delete my old game's data so that my new town can be visited?

If you're still using the same 3DS to get online, your friends can see your new town that way.

Since the friend code is universal, you could make and remake as many towns as you'd like and still have the same friends.

Experience. Used my 3DS to host a bunch of turnip sellers for my brother's town.

Yeah the friend code is the same but if you have any "best friends" on your first copy they won't be best friended in the second copy.
