Do I have to buy a new switch to get a second town?

Well good thing the switch lights are cheap... :/ I wanted to make a catalogue town/ shop town along with maybe a cycling town .. it’s kinda disappointing Nintendo would do this to us..

I know I had like three new leaf towns. I have to pay my credit card off before I get a new one but hey.. lol it’s ight ! Haha.. would any of you guys get a second switch and town if you could afford it ??

i totally would. like you, i had cycling towns in new leaf. and pretty much have a couple of dreamies that i couldn't even have on my current island.
I also want to do a cataloguing service.
it makes me so sad! But I saw online switch lights are on sale might have to grab one real quick

! I think if I start saving abit now then come August I might be able to find a cheap one, having to adult really does suck 
like I’d rather spend money on a new island instead of gas but hey ho!oh congratulations! Idk about you but I’d celebrate with a new switch! Hehe
I love the game but, to be honest, it is kind of a scummy decision on Nintendo's part along with the Cloud Save feature being... weirdly locked, for now. Like, people still time-travel using the in-console clock and hacking is still rampant as heck, none of their decisions have prevented it.

As much as I like this game, I have way too much responsibilities in real life to commit to a new island. (As I have just graduated and landed a job!) There's definitely a lot of other things I wished I could have done on a second island, but I haven't even fully committed to finishing my first island.
I feel exactly the same way every time I put gas in my car I’m like I could use this $20 to save up for a new switch or every time I pay my cable bill I’m like do I really need cable?? And that’s definitely how I’m going to celebrate I already told my boyfriend that’s what I want and he thinks it’s unnecessary to get a second one but he’s just like OK if that’s what you want will work on it! Because I just really miss it new leaf vibes honestly! Cycling having multiple dreamies it kinda sucks NH in that sense Nintendo is getting cheap lolHappy late birthday

Most switches can’t be hacked anymore anyways, plus I wouldn’t want to get banned from Belltree for having one
