Do hybrids breed better on a flower bed?

I've just built a flower bed in my town, and I have a quick question about it. As it's a specific place to grow flowers on, do hybrids spawn better there?

It helps you breed hybrids by stopping villagers from parking their houses on your hybrids.

I did the same with a fence project too. It's a good way to ensure you have a spot for any side characters open, if you want them in a specific spot but don't want to make them yet. Or for saving a spot for a future PWP that hasn't been suggested yet!

How many flowers is the fence able to contain?

The fence can technically hold 7 flowers because you can plant one in the entrance. It is not very good for breeding hybrids in my opinion because flowers don't have room to grow in there.

I built the fence for growing hybrids and nothing happened. One of the villagers planted a flower in the entrance. So I removed all the flowers and used it for storing all the different types of perfect fruit. Comes in handy when you play all your side players.

I did have the flower bed but was disappointed that it only held 4 flowers. Also the tarantulas or scorpion will despawn into the flower bed. So I removed them. Instead I added shrub tiles and put the flowers inside. Looked nicer than the flower bed.

I'm going to second the suggestion of growing hybrids on the beach. They're safe, protected from villager houses.

I had a flower bed for a while, but it never seemed to work well as a breeding area. No worse than any other place, but definitely no better.

Hope this helps!
