Do flowers rotate in store?

So from what I've seen on this forums, most people have said they always have the same flowers in their shops. For me it's always been Tulips, Lillies, and Pansies. It's been this way since day one. Now all of a sudden today Hyacinths showed up in place of pansies. Has anyone figured this out? Do they rotate once in a blue moon? Now I did just obtain my first ever Hyacinths the other day, so that made me think maybe you need to obtain them first before they can appear in your store, but I haven't heard anyone else mention this....or am I just under a rock here?

I’ve had access to Mums, Tulips, Pansies and Hyacinths since the second day. It’s possible the Hyacinth were added after I visited my partner’s Island on Day 1 and bought them (they’re his native flower, if that makes a difference for our research)

I saw a similar thing happen the other day too (starting March 30). I only had lillies (my native), windflowers, and pansies showing up in my shop. Hyacinths are now showing up for me too. They also showed up to buy today (March 31).

I have never traded with anyone, nor have I encountered anything but lillies and windflowers on the tour islands. So I don't know why this happened.

I've had a rotation between Tulips, Hyacinths, Windflowers, and Pansies, which leads me to assume that you just have four flowers that are randomly chosen from each day. The only person I'd visited or been visited by prior to today had roses as their native flower (the one that spawns on the cliffs), and even after buying seeds in their shop and digging up some stems, I don't see roses appear in my shops. Tulips are my native, and I've encountered one Hybrid-Tulip mystery Island, if those things matter.
