I’ve never adopted a villager in NH before, but in NL the adopted villagers would constantly talk about their previous town. Do they still do this in NH?
I got Tex from a friend (I didn’t trade for him; he was a villager that had moved out of his town and became a random move in for me), but he had only mentioned the previous town very briefly when I first spoke to him.
I've adopted quite a few villagers and none of them mention their previous town like they used to back in New Leaf.
For example I've had Dom the longest yet he NEVER mentions his previous town. He was one of the two starting villagers, but even then he'll never mention his previous town nor the island rep.
i've had two voided villagers, boone and filbert. they both told me where they were from when i first talked to them. i think filbert maybe mentioned the player from his old town once(she gave him a hat) and boone mentioned the player from his town a couple times when he was wearing the jacket she gave him. Other than that they never talked about their old town.
It seems that they mention it when you first get them, when talking about a gift from the other island rep, and when that island rep visits. Thanks for the answers guys!
