DLC Verification

Based off of the link I will put at the bottom of this post, receiving DLC seems a bit vague. Can someone describe the process of reeieving these special gifts a bit more clear? And am I still able to receive them?

First off: You have to have your wii hooked up to wii connect 24 and internet and Pete will deliver them to your house.

At the bottom of that page someone wrote there are no current North American DLC available.

and Nook, I'm guessing there was no other nicer way to say that?
