DLC pillars didn’t unlock

This happened to me also because I tried to build too many houses on my first day on the new island.
So if you have done your 15 homes and built the school on day one:
Day 2: Leif will visit your island and will give you a course on hybrid flowers for your villagers (this is required)
Day 3: Niko will now give you the class on Pillars and Counters.

i have finished all 30 homes, and about 4-5 homes after, i have done the dance event thing on the beach and still don’t have pillars or anything other than the partition walls.
if i try to use the chest it just tells me “looks like you could fit a lot of stuff in this box.” and niko only asks if i want to visit a home.

i’m not sure if i missed anything or what’s going on. i’ve asked a few other people and they don’t know what’s going on.
if anyone could help me that would be a huge help! thank you!

I just had this problem myself (if you are still having it or anyone else is)

And I TT to 4:57 am, went to the paradise and waited for the day to roll over and once it did, niko gave me the prompt to learn three pillars DIY

What's your HHP rank? Do you have the classroom built? Goes it have enough seats for the HHP crew and you? Has Niko asked you to explain DIYs to him yet?
